Are we living under the New Covenant??

I think Baptist have found a way they can fellowship the Jews, even though the Jews don't believe in Jesus Christ. The Baptist say, they will believe in the future and the Jews tell them to their face, that they will not, but the Baptist turn a deaf ear.

It is political correct to make some way for the Jews and the Baptists think they have found it, along with others and I saw on TV just this week, a Jew telling them, no they do not believe in Jesus and why should they, but they would accept all the help they could get from the Baptists and others in the form of money. Now they are holding fund raising services just for the Jews, of which the Jews laugh all the way to the bank, while saying they do not believe in Jesus Christ.

Well, that is not the doctrine of Christ or the NT and scripture plainly says the elect of the Jews are already saved, and others were cutoff, but will be grafted back in shortly in the time of Paul, which is still happening today, but only if they believe.

People need to quit trying to snuggle up to the Jews to be political correct and preach the truth, if they don't believe that Jesus is the Christ, their future home is Hell.

Then why do you claim that the Gentiles are under the New Covenant that was to be given to Israel??

BBob,

Because it was prophesied that those who were not called a people will be called a people, which are the Gentiles (Amos 9:12).

Act 10:15And the voice [spake] unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, [that] call not thou common.

As a nation, they were no longer aliens to the commonwealth of Israel.

I beleive we have come to a time in history when Israel is returning to the land for the last time in unbelief in order that they would come to see Christ (Zech 12:10) and believe during the tribulation.

Yes, Christians are trying to "help" God to save their land so that they would not be scattered anymore. I personally also realize that God doesn't need any help. In fact, God prophesied that they would do nearly the opposite of maintain their independence --- they will make a covenant with death and hell (Satan's "peace") by which I believe they will come under Roman/EU rule again (as when Christ walked the earth).

In so doing, they will yet seem to be an independent state -- they will be able to tear down their walls on account of EU military and political protection -- they will be able to rebuild their temple. All this is prophesied as God brings them back and then converts them.

Then, as you no doubt know, Gog will come out of the north like a whirlwind and Israel will turn to God, Dan 11:40, Ezek 38, Joel 2:11-20!

Anyway, it's kinda hard "to play this game without a program."

Question, mostly for the pre-millers - what, if any, spiritual significance can we give to the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD?
