Are You Satisfied With President Trump?

You said retaliatory. And you want to ignore that. I am well aware that the world is full of tariffs. President Trump made some waves and some people are getting uncomfortable.
You are welcome to your opinion. We are allowed to disagree with it.
Just because we are not moved by your opinions doesn’t mean we have our heads in the sand.

When you ignore the cost that will be passed along to the end buyer then that to me is head n the sand thinking.

You have a man in the WH that come across as a child. That is why the world is telling the US that they do not need them any more.

I understand that you want to think the US is the greatest thing since sliced bread but those days are past.

The US is just one of many nations that other nations can trade with.

The dumb part is that those tariffs that he puts on imports are paid for by you US citizens. You pay the higher price and you seem to think that is a good thing.

All those tariff costs just get passed along to the end buyer. That's you.
That all sounds great but Canada has a problem of its own. Alberta has had to basically say they don’t care what Ottawa says. They won’t follow along unless it’s good for them. There is plenty of trouble within every country. We can complain about your leadership and you may also stick your head in the sand for what they do.

We are not forced to buy. I am allowed to refuse products and services. If they are too expensive, I do.
I don’t care if we dump all the tea in the harbor all over again.

I live in Alberta and we have had enough of Ottawa caving to the green agenda. Ottawa wants our money but does not want us to prosper.

My greatest concern is that there will be enough people who have not thought it through and will vote to leave. Even worse will choose to join the US. Now that would be a disaster.

We just want to be respected for the contribution that we make to this country not just considered the ATM for the rest of the country.

I agree but at the end of the day whether it is you or the person down the street, someone will pay the cost.

How many of your companies have had to close due to these tariffs. How is it going to impact the farmers that need potash for their crops and it now has a 50% tariff on it.

That cost will be passed on to you unless you do not eat. Like it or not everyone will be impacted by those tariffs.

The US doesn’t want to be the ATM for the world either.

God feeds His people. I’m not worried. We also have gardens. We won’t starve.
The rain falls on the just and the unjust. It’s not something I lose sleep over. Well maybe a little bit tonight.

But that is just because we are talking about it. I’m not concerned about it.

Your not. You do realize that the US sells those weapons to the EU who then give them to Ukraine.

I for the life of me can not understand why Trump has gone back a forth on that war. If they do not stop Putin now then he will invade a NATO country.

The US is not forced to give money to any other country as Alberta is forced to do to Ottawa.
