My question is, with your belief that we Catholics are not truly 'born again' (even those of us who believed exactly like you do now as former Baptist) and that Catholics are 'hell bound', even though we embrace Christ as Savior and Lord, why would you give two poops about any criticisms against this pope. I should think you would be celebrating it with GLEE.

Back up chief, I never said any of the stuff you are suggesting I said. Each individual whomever they are must come to terms with their salvation. If I believed what you said then most of my family would be in hell so back up and review my dialogues with my texts before you start accusing me of stuff I didn’t say.You are right though, I don’t give a wit about anyones position in either life or death… that’s between them and God. What I do care about is a guy (Pope John Paul 2) who I sincerely believe that he cared because he asked questions of us that undercut all self interest like what did Jesus present as essential and all embracing? And what is God doing on earth? Read his Encyclicals man, he demanded change to the point that he lets nobody off the hook… yet most of the church, both yours and mine don’t want to admit that these encyclicals even exists… and I greave over that.

I appreciate you saying this. I have read his Encyclicals. I have had serious discussions with both Evangelicals and Catholics especially on Fides et Ratio (faith and reason). I look forward to your discussions on this.
