On Sunday, Atlantic Editor in Chief Jeffrey Goldberg admitted the White House’s account that President Trump’s trip to a cemetery of fallen World War I soldiers in France in 2018 was modified due to bad weather is probably accurate.

“I’m sure all of those things are true,” Goldberg told CNN in an interview on Friday when asked to respond to evidence a story he published saying otherwise is false.

It is more like one of the oldest magazines in America lied for political purposes.

I don't think they lied on purpose per se. They dislike the President and are being too trusting of anonymous sources in their zeal to take down President Trump. Their bias boiled over.

A lie, is still a lie, and this was done with an evil intent. It is like evil gossip.

Well, I don't speak Latin…per se, and they don't care about the truth. These were not off the cuff remarks but an article purporting to be reportage. Did they balance it with the witness of others who were actually there? Several have openly countered it since.

Bias boiling over? Try a wildfire of zealous hatred. But yes, they are trying to take down the president. It's been one four-year-long hypocritical smear campaign—this is just one small part. There will be more, and it will be just as dubious, intended to dupe the gullible.

They always knew the story could be wrong, and always knew it lacked proper sources. If you're not upfront about that from the getgo, it's dishonest (on purpose).

Yeah, you make sense. I'm a nonfiction writer. Never put your name to anything you aren't sure of.
