    God not being a respector of man, has nothing to do with any of the definitions you offer.

    God is not lower in rank than man! Therefore God owes nothing to man, is not subservient to man, does not bow to man's whims, does not come running when we deliberately put ourselves in harms way, is not governed by man, etc. Get the picture?

    He set things in motion, it is up to us to comply or get left out. God is not going to mollycoddle any of us because he is not a respector of man.
