Attitude towards Communism

If it wasn't for the execution of Christians, educated people, gay people, and the civil rights violations of everyone else. the squashing of free speech & dissent, state imposed atheism, impeding free markets, and military control of the population, it might be something worth talking about.

I posted this poll to show everyone here how ridiculous it was to call anyone who voted for Obama a communist. Now do you see the error of your ways? Using some socialist tactics like nationalizing AIG in the current financial crisis or setting up Social Security is not remotely like communism in practice.
It does seem ridiculous to have to post this kind of a poll on a Christian web site. It was also ridiculous to make the statements that led to doing it.

Again, who called them communists ?
What is intentionally being overlooked is that communism has changed. Looking to the past to present proof some are not marxist is in error. But having presented on multiple occasions the principles of the current neo-communists directly from their own website no one has shown where Barack Hussein ( It is ok to use that now) Obama does not support their basic principles. I and one or two others have shwn effectively that he supports most if not all the basic principles and ideas of the current communist party. The result is an understanding that Barack Hussein (It is ok to use that now) Obama is a Marxist. Do you support the same principles? Are you then a Marxist?

What seems alarming to me is that socialism seems to have some support right here on this discussion board. Now the banks are required, by government regulation, to have reserves i store for each account up to a given sum. If you think this is a bad thing, then best stay where you are where your banks can go broke and you can lose everything. Remember the days when Americans lined up outside a closed bank trying to get their $100.00 out of their account. Some of us are old enough to remember.
There are many other benefits,,,,,,along with the shortfalls.

In fact, a better case could be made for its support of dictators and monarchs but that also would be incorrect. We also have regulations in place to provide some protection for the citizens. We do have federal insurance programs to protect one's cash deposits. Miopia can be treated, but blindess is generally for life. You haven't a clue about Canadian politics and obviously not American history either. You never saw the people weeping whilst trying to get their pittance from a bank that just closed their doors? Those people never got their money and some even lost their farms in the process...Not too many years back. Sorry.
