In what has become a common refrain this year, last month ranked as the hottest August on record, according to NASA data released Monday. Not only that, but the month tied July as the hottest month the world has seen in the last 136 years.

August came in at 1.76˚F (0.98˚C) above the average from 1951-1980, 0.16C above August 2014, the previous record holder. The record keeps 2016 on track to be the hottest year in the books by a fair margin.

Aw, are you sure August didn't cheat?

It didn't cheat here. It was HOT ... and September has also been HOT. At least half our days here in Sept. have been over 90. That has never happened before. Finally this week we are going to have a normal week temperature wise. But, if other areas are as this one Sept. will set an all time record.

It's always HOT in August. And HOT in September. And HOT in July.

We call it SUMMER.

With the alleged HUGE amount of the ice caps melting, there still isn't water at my doorstep.

Al Gore still hasn't evacuated his mansion on the coast.

Yes, but not as hot as this year. Other years were simply hot and Hot. This year it was HOT!

The average high in September here is 81f. Today is the 19th and ten days this month have been over 90, twice it hit 95f. Only two days has the high been lower than the average. We are going to destroy the past record for the month of September.

One way you can reduce your carbon footprint and help fight global warming is to turn your air conditioner off.

Name a time the climate wasn't changing Crabby. The Sahara desert was once green and lush. It changed to sand long before the industrial revolution.

Maybe Al (self-proclaimed creator of the internet) was right after all!

Relatively speaking:

It's hot in the Summer.

It's cold in the Winter.

It's a mixture of all in Spring and Fall.

We who aren't hoodwinked with 'climate change' call it 'weather'. Seems we've always had this weather thing.

BTW, the bamboozlers headed by the creator of the internet changed the term 'global warming' to 'climate change' because it is hard to prove that 'weather' doesn't happen. I think, iirc, that years ago they called it 'global cooling'?

The ‘Fingerprint’ Of Global Warming Doesn’t Exist In The Real World, Study Finds

One of the main lines of evidence used by the Obama administration to justify its global warming regulations doesn’t exist in the real world, according to a new report by climate researchers.

Researchers analyzed temperature observations from satellites, weather balloons, weather stations and buoys and found the so-called “tropical hotspot” relied upon by the EPA to declare carbon dioxide a pollutant “simply does not exist in the real world.”

They found that once El Ninos are taken into account, “there is no ‘record setting’ warming to be concerned about.”

“These analysis results would appear to leave very, very little doubt but that EPA’s claim of a Tropical Hot Spot (THS), caused by rising atmospheric CO2 levels, simply does not exist in the real world,” reads the report by economist James Wallace, climatologist John Christy and meteorologist Joseph D’Aleo.
