It will leave the decision of abortion to the state legislatures. Since many have already approved abortion up to actual birth, it won’t change much in those states.

But some states will certainly put severe restrictions on abortion.

The second best thing will be watching the liberals melt down over the next few weeks.

I bet we hear the phrase “back alley abortions” 500 times before the mid-terms.

They basically said that the Constitution does NOT address abortion - one way or the other.
What the Court did orginally was the 14th - "Any person born...."

To follow up on a good question from RevMitchell;

who leaked the draft? And why leak the draft?

It seems all the news from the last few weeks has been bad for Dems, about how they are goin to lose the house and Senate in the mid- terms. Was this leaked to energize their base?

Or…..

Was this leaked now… so when the decision is revealed later this year and closer to the election it will be “old news” and not generate the base?

Probably the first, imo, but who can tell for certain.

Abortion is a very touchy issue for me

I was an unplanned pregnancy, and grew up knowing it!

my wife was unplanned

my oldest adopted daughter (wife’s Neice)

I have several cousins as well

this is a hit home thing for me, not just a case of rhetoric

My guess is the draft was leaked to energize those outside to put pressure on the court to change their decision before a final ruling.

The Dems have been maneuvering to utterly replace our system of government.

It's as if they know that the Antichrist is close to being revealed and appointed King over the earth. And yes the scriptures make it clear that it is an appointment. It is not Democracy.

If the Rapture and Gog-Magog Alliance war of Ezekiel chapters 36 through 39 occur in the same time period, world politics will change in a New York minute.

I say all this in the sense that it appears as though things are turning to the positive for Conservatives here in America based on our current system of government. But I warn that our system has an expiration date. The Antichrist kingdom will come.

It is not exactly news that many of the Conservative Side of SCOTUS thought Roe V Wade was a poor decision, adding the right of the mother to murder her pre-born baby. A key difference in Justices is whether they think the Constitution should be interpreted according to the intent of the authors, or according to the "needs' of the present. The Constitution has an amendment feature so the original intent was not for SCOTUS to have the power to amend it.

So like liberal Bible interpreters, who nullify and rewrite scripture according to what they think is the "needed" interpretation, the Liberal Side of SCOTUS will if in the majority nullify our Constitution including the Bill of Rights, and there goes our Freedom of Religion, for example. Thus anyone voting for Democrats is voting to destroy America.

Would the "Disinformation" agency created by Democrats charge me with a hate crime and ban this post? Or would our Conservative Court declare that the Disinformation agency violates our First Amendment?

Does anyone know if there are any legal penalties that would await whoever leaked this? If there are they need to be punished to the fullest extent of the law, not to mention lose their job.

and that's why Biden and other abortion supporters are called :"cafeteria Catholics". This draft is a direct attack on the thing they love the most, abortion.

Notice they filled Breyer's vacancy while he's still on the court, could be an attempt to stack it. This leak was a Hail Mary pass, IMO - some liberal clerk (*cough**cough* Anit-what's-his-face, he has connections with this Politco person) did this to cause lefty outrage in order to put the squeeze on some wobblers. They did this years ago with Sandra Day O'Conner, she was ready to overturn this awful decision and was pressured to change her mind, although SCOTUS kept that one to themselves.

This is unprecedented, the leak, SCOTUS was the only branch of government to be leak-proof until now. I can't see one of them flipping, maybe Kavanaugh but he should remember how the left treated him. RvW was arguably the worst decision ever by SCOTUS, even the notorious RBG said it was deeply flawed, the overturn is long, long overdue.

I see some are wondering why the leak?

What has happened? The news cycle subject has changed from Mr. Biden's abject failures, on the economy (runaway inflation), on the Border (runaway illegal immigration), on Energy (runaway gas prices) and on party unity (runaway Democrats)! Keep you eye on the ball, and not on the changed topic.
