Bad English In Thread Titles

Those of us South of the Border do not speak English, we speak Americian & those North of the Rio Grande/Gulf of Mexico speak - well, I'm not sure what they speak
A common one which gets me is "Calvanist" instead of "Calvinist". And there have been several thread titles over the years referring to the "Diety of Christ", on which I always wish to post "Scripture is silent as to what the Lord generally ate; we do know however that John the Baptist's diet consisted of locusts and honey."
Once in a while (in fact one of my threads was listed) I hit the "reply button" too quick. You are able to edit your post but not the title -

I purposely use POOR ENGLISH/AMERICAN to see if I could edit the title, I was unable, but than again, I am computer illiterate - opps challenged

This constant pointing out of typos and such stinks of a superiority complex in my opinion. I sincerely hope that new posters won't be turned off by their grammatical mistakes being pointed out. It's one thing to laugh about common misuses (like 'supposebly' and the like), but to keep pointing out all the mistakes is a bit of an overkill. This will be my last post in this thread because I find it to be just plain rude.

The way I look at it, the days of being critiqued (its a miracle if I spelled that correctly) and graded ended with high school. The objective on discussion boards is to use words to get your point across...period.
Now...having said that, I do object to only one thing.

But normal typos, misspelled words, or errors in grammar?
A complete non issue on a discussion board. On job a application? Yes. Discussion board, no.

As I stated before, we in the USA do not speak English but American! So I use the ridiculous phrase of English or American ( as well as State or Commonwealth) in defiance to those individuals who think they MUST be politically correct and use "he or she"
Well like "Alive" said its no big deal, but it wil be in a thread I just started!
I work part-time at a public school. The state health department found coliform in the water system and forced the district to stop using the water for drinking. All the water fountains were shut off and posted with DO NOT DRINK THE WATER signs.
On one of the signs a student scribbled "There is fecies in the water". Beneath it another wrote, "There may be stuff in the water but there is no i in feces." :thumbs:
The principal would usually replace a sign that was defaced. He decided that graffiti in his school should, at least, be spelled correctly.

One time-------while at my uncle's Dairy Farm---------------I took a good "swig" of water from the water hose that was laying down on the milk parlor room floor-----and I got deathly ill--------does that count????:laugh::laugh:
