What raises a red flag, is that no poll shows any Republican candidate winning against Hillary in the general election. I just don't believe it.

Let me rephrase, none of the most recent polls . . .

Cruz isn't winning among Republicans. He won't even show against Clinton with his baggage. No one is worried about Trump's baggage.

That's because the American public apparently doesn't actually care about who we elect for office. We're more concerned with publicity and entertainment. Who we elect represents each of us, and what we think this country stands for.

That should be cause for some careful thought.

This can't JUST now be coming news? Didn't we all have this discussion about there simply being more folks who will vote against the GOP than will vote with it last election cycle? The numbers will never add up until the GOP changes what people, in general, believe it stands.

And with Trump as the GOP nominee, the Senate and Hose are in play.

Y'all seem to be missing the point, which is in post # 3

I was too young to vote in 1980, but I remember all the talk about polls, and I remember Reagan's response, and I'm paraphrasing, "I don't listen to the polls."

Yes, yes, yes. Don't bother posting the articles that say Trump is no Reagan. That's obvious, but the people weren't simply fed up with "the establishment" as they are now.

It isn't Trump against Hillary and the establishment, it's the people against Hillary and the establishment.
