What, there will be lawyers who survive the Tribulation? [IMG]

For three and a half years, the Anti-Christ will let 'em survive as a "professional courtesy". :tongue3:

I thought he let them keep on working through the last 3 1/2 years too, as a professional courtesy.

Okay, men, but we can't imagine lawyers in the millenium, can we? Wouldn't they have to repent first? :tongue3:

I hate to bring this up, but there will be no need of preachers or missionaries in the millenial either...

    My wife's grandparents were "Paynes"
I have often heard the joke that there will be no Paynes (pains) in Heaven.. nor Knights (nights) either....

 As for me, I'll be happy to lay down the yoke and relax for awhile.

There's a Payne who runs an apologetic-type ministry to college students. My brother went to grade school with him in Wheaton, IL. Check it out at: http://www.intelligentchristianity.net/

Of course we know what the preterist's answer to the OP would be:

"Why don't you just hop in the car and go see for yourself?"

    :p

Why would you want to take this world's money with you anyway?

MY treasures are already stored up in (and constantly being added to) heaven. :)

Guess which bank it is in?
Banks of Jordan! ha ha ha ha

Seriously, ummmm....guess there is nothing really serious about this thread is there Tim? ;-p

Here is some humor (is it allowed? :) ) about a certain lawyer (So please look beyond the poor theology)

A certain lawyer dies and goes to heaven (it could happen).

St. Peter meets him at the golden gates and says

"Congratulations we see that you were the oldest man on earth"

The lawyer says "but I was only 40 when I died of a heart attack, how did you come to that conclusion?".

"well" says Peter "we added up all the hours you billed your clients".

    Nah, we needed a break.

Maybe we could pile all of it up and have a weiner roast..
I might have enough to light the pile!

I guess it will be totally worthless... just a piece of paper...
Not far from where it is now...

So if any want me to store up their "millenial firewood" just send it my way, and I will happily store it for you. Yeah.. That's it....
