"Baptism for the remission of sins"?

How do you view Those in the "Church of Christ" and "Christian church" denominations?

a. Not Christians because they believe that baptism is part of what saves you.

b. Christians who are confused about this issue, ie; saved by Christ alone but simply don't realize exactly how?

c. Or is Church of Christ more off than Christian churches. I have contacts with both, and it seems many disgruntled baptist end up in Christian churches that operate mainly like non-denominational churches (like Southeast Christian in Louisville)

Please give some theological reasons for your answer. thanks.

Sort of like Roman catholics.....you pray many will be saved out of it despite the cult like teaching......

1And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.

1And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be baptized in the COC, ye cannot be saved.

same thing!

I don't agree with their teaching on baptism, but they are just basing their belief on a literal reading and interpretation of the scriptures.

A lot of people here hold to that methodology but criticize it in others when those others come to different conclusions about a doctrine. Then there are all kinds of attempts to tell those others why they are wrong -- all kinds of rationalizations to try to explain why the literal reading does not mean what it says.

As I said before, when one uses a particular sword to impale others with, one will most likely get stuck by the same kind of sword.
