Why not just stay in the Catholic church if you are going to teach their doctrine? John Calvin should have stayed with the Catholics with his teachings.

Funny you would look at it that way, since the Catholic church affirmed free will and our ability to do good on our own steam (semi-pelagianism) and commissioned Erasmus to write a diatribe about it. It was refuted by Martin Luther in his Bondage of the Will, which is essentially Calvinism before Calvin.

Then again, you used big bold letters, so you must be right.
