There are many who insist that the movements you cite are firmly linked. Others (I am one) look at them as having spiritual kinship.Does anyone know any details about the continuity of the Baptist Christians with the Christians of the earlier period?
For example, the Waldensians, Beggins, Petrobusians, Kafars/Novocians, Donatists, and the Early Church

Did They Dip? by John T. Christian is an answer to the theory of W. H. Whitsitt, who began to teach that the Baptists adopted immersion in 17th century England. John T. Christian believes in the continuity of baptism before this time.Does anyone know the books on the history of Baptism on the topic of its continuity? You can use the titles and the link to the book together. I will be grateful.)))
I've already read the blood trail. I thought there was something new.

What do you think of Landmark Baptist thinking?I've already read the blood trail. I thought there was something new.
And who are these people? What do you think of Landmark Baptist thinking?
I just read about them. I can say that I agree with them, but they need to learn a little more history, otherwise they have written down obvious heretics in our ancestors. What do you think of Landmark Baptist thinking?
I would say that the church in Acts practiced Baptist doctrines and practices, but that the Proper Baptists were not existing until in Middle Ages!I just read about them. The Catholic reference to Anabaptists dates from about 363AD or so.. . . that Catholics called all Christians of the Evangelical confession one word "Anabaptists", . . .
It is understandable. After all, if we take you and us for comparison, then as it turned out with the general similarity, we are still a little different. The Russian Baptists were very much influenced by the "Shtundists", "Fraternal Mennonites" and " Molokans"I would say that the church in Acts practiced Baptist doctrines and practices, but that the Proper Baptists were not existing until in Middle Ages!
Does the Russian orthodox Church in Russia tolerate other churches? It is understandable. Well, there's no telling. They suffer in terms of the fact that they do not have the power that they had under the tsars, and so they slander very much and stick their propaganda wherever they can. it is also clear that they are trying to influence the authorities in order to curtail the freedom and rights of other confessions.Does the Russian orthodox Church in Russia tolerate other churches?
When my wife and I was in Moscow, were told that church was very hesitate to see other churches allowed to flourish!Well, there's no telling. Well, they are not a Church, but simply a religiously politicized organization of Eastern Catholics of the Byzantine rite. And so yes. They do their best to harm all the creeds they can. In fact, many laws restricting religious freedom were created by their adherents or with explicit lobbying on their part. When my wife and I was in Moscow, were told that church was very hesitate to see other churches allowed to flourish!
