Baptistboard supporting Mike Huckabee for President

It would appear that the Baptistboard supports Mike Huckabee for president. There is an image where the google ads use to be below the toolbar.

Although he is my second choice behind Ron Paul, it's good to see some Christians looking at other options other than the top three Repubicans.

Andrew puts up paid advertisements of all kinds.
I understand that, but this one is different. It's not running through Google or another Ad program. It's a direct link.

I still find it welcoming to see other Christians support someone other than the status quo top three. :)

I am surprised that the mainstream media has not started questioning Huckabee about the Wayne Dumond case, his history as a tax raiser, and his history of supporting taxpayer-funded college scholarships for children of illegal aliens.

It was redstate that virtually banned the Ron paul supporters - they tend to join up a forum and spam Ron Paul propoganda 24/7. They don't "act" like other Republicans do, that's why.

Yes, Huckabee's won every debate he's been in, that's helping him. It makes sense that a Baptist website would support a Baptist minister.

Meh, he's okay. Anybody but Hillary, including Ron Paul, Rudy, Mike, Fred, Mitt, Juan, Duncan, Tommy T....

The ad is on another one of Andrew's sites...

I am glad Andrew is as smart as I am....
Huckabee's a great choice!

Ancestry.com faithfoums as well as others are ads that are direct links on this site.

The ad is a direct link. I have Google ads blocked and yet this one shows up. It's not a bad thing, Mike would be a good second choice, or even a VP for Paul.

You're either missing my point, or just wanting to argue, either way I am done with you on this thread.

I like Brownback, Huckabee, Tancredo & Paul.

Brownback has already dropped out of the race. I heard this morning that Tancredo may be dropping out soon as well. He is supposed to make an announcement of some sort after the Rockies finish playing in the World Series.

I was beginning to wonder if that wasn't happening. An amazing number of new members here seem to support Paul.:tonofbricks:

As an aside for the ad contents themselves - I wondered what enabled this one to skip the blocking process.

de-block?

Obviously there is a way I didn't get in any coding class, but I've not fooled with pages with ads.

Hiya mcdirector!

This one shows up because it's directly linked. It's not server from a standard "Ad" server. The image is coming from Clean Solutions directly so the Ad block program wouldn't know it's a ad. It thinks it's an image from that site.

The program I use has the option to selectly block any image/ad. It has a list of "known" ad servers and blocks that aside from that you can select any image and add it to the blacklist.

It's not the ad itself I posted about, I just noticed that the Baptistboard has directly linked to this ad vers letting it run in a pool like all the others.

Just use the Adblock Plus add-in for Firefox, and tell it to block the Huckabee ad, and like magic....it's gone!

That is the program I am using. :) And you're correct, it is gone.
