No I'm not. Just because there wasn't a declared war, doesn't equate a peaceful transfer of power. A group of armed civilians who take arms against a sitting government is every bit a military force.

BTW, I am not in the Obama = muslim camp. He will take his oath on the bible, I believe.
When you consider that the oath is to "--uphold the US constitution, and defend it from enemies within and without--", and also consider how past POTUSs have followed that oath, what difference does it make if he uses the Bible, quran or a Sears-Roebuck catalog?:BangHead::tear:

Liberalism is a fatal disease; as will be evident to all shortly*!!!

Apologize for what?

For holding a belief about a future event that may be wrong?

We all have opinions about what the future will bring and I would say that most of them prove to be wrong.

Why apologize for not being able to accurately foresee the future?

hOW ABOUT JUST ADMIT YOU WERE WRONG?

The Muslims of the world are already rejecting him so he has to throw his name in their face to gain ground. Or so he thinks. let's hope this is not the best he has. It is a weak start to be sure.

I'm not sure if President-Elect Obama is a closet Muslim or not. What *I think* is that he will be the gateway between the Islamic world and the United States. I think our country should be very leery of this. I can't see our country any better off, morally, when his term(s) is over, but I think that we as believers should more keep our eyes on Israel at this point in history. If the US turns on Israel, she's done!

Emphasis mine

BINGO!!!!

Gen 12:2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
Gen 12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

I can see it now, just after the next attack on our home soil, a weeping BHO, on his knees, with hands clasped pleading, "Now what did you do that for?" "I am your brother and my name proves it."

It was the substance of his campaign and so far it is the only substance to his administration.

You have a fantastic imagination. Why don't you write a novel?

Isn't this from the same "prophet" who predicted we'd be in the NAU by now? RD, you will be wrong once again, but don't worry. We still love you.
we enter the NAU. I have never given a date MP...but, I will stand by my word. We will be joined with the other nations on this Northern continent. We are headed toward a united Canada, Mexico, and America.

It is the only way that we, as a people can survive this massive economic cesspool. You can chose to believe, or not, and like you said, I still love you too!!!!

Americans and Canadians will be squeezed to the point that this will be the lesser of the evils that are about to befall this world. There will be pressure to do this from those that hold the debt cards in China and Russia. Just be ready, MP, because I'm sure it will take your breath away. I can only hope that you remember the words I posted, and take a minute to write me your apologies. I will accept them anytime:laugh:

History is replete with people being liberated without military force. Even in recent history, the collapse of the GDR, the liberation of the former Czechoslovakia, and the collapse of the Soviet Union leading to the liberation of many component republics, including the annexed nations of Latvia, Estonia, and Lithuania. Then there's the revolution led by Lech Walensa and the Solidarity movement in Poland. And don't dismiss ideas. The idea of freedom and democracy drove most of these bloodless coups.

I would say the SED simply lost the majority of the vote so the people welcomed the People’s Chamber legislation. If you think the collapse of the Soviet Union was an ideological peaceful demonstration you are living in La La Land. And as far as the Baltic states they were independent before the collapse. And thus they can openly be called an example.
Poland’s Solidarity receives noble merits. As for dismissing ideas that is not my point, it’s more than just an idea it’s an action.

I find it rather amusing that those who were offended of his middle name being used are now proud. Seems like whatever direction the wind blows so shall thee.

Then you miss the point. Nobody objected to his middle name...but rather to those righties who were disingenuously attempting to establish a slanderous connection to Saddam Hussein by its use.

That's right. There is a difference between simply referring to a person's middle name and attempting to use it as a slur.
