Hey Marcia, I was looking at an old tread just over a week ago and saw your name and was wondering about you. Quite a coincidence; and good to see you back.

P.S. don't worry we won't tell Geisler about the Neo Orthodoxy.

I got 100% but might not have if I had took the rapture answer I was tempted to, but thought to overlook the origination of that word for what the author was probablt trying to get across.

Quiz:

You scored as a Evangelical Holiness/Wesleyan
You are an evangelical in the Wesleyan tradition. You believe that God's grace enables you to choose to believe in him, even though you yourself are totally depraved. The gift of the Holy Spirit gives you assurance of your salvation, and he also enables you to live the life of obedience to which God has called us. You are influenced heavly by John Wesley and the Methodists.

Evangelical Holiness/Wesleyan 79%
Reformed Evangelical 71%
Neo orthodox 54%
Emergent/Postmodern 50%
Fundamentalist 46%
Classical Liberal 36%
Charismatic/Pentecostal 29%
Modern Liberal 18%
Roman Catholic 4%

OK enlightened one. What philosophy is in the laws of thermodynamics? What philosophy is in the battle of the bulge or the taking of Iwo Jima? What philosophy is in differential equations?

Directly? Maybe none, but I assure you, each author has a set of conscious or unconscious philosophical presuppositions driving their expositions.
