"On the 36th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, we are reminded that this decision not only protects women’s health and reproductive freedom, but stands for a broader principle: that government should not intrude on our most private family matters. I remain committed to protecting a woman’s right to choose. While this is a sensitive and often divisive issue, no matter what our views, we are united in our determination to prevent unintended pregnancies, reduce the need for abortion, and support women and families in the choices they make. To accomplish these goals, we must work to find common ground to expand access to affordable contraception, accurate health information, and preventative services. On this anniversary, we must also recommit ourselves more broadly to ensuring that our daughters have the same rights and opportunities as our sons: the chance to attain a world-class education; to have fulfilling careers in any industry; to be treated fairly and paid equally for their work; and to have no limits on their dreams. That is what I want for women everywhere."

Bush was an abortionist. Millions of abortions occurred during his administration. Worse than that, like his father and Ronald Reagan before him, he duped evangelical Christians into voting for him because he said the right words against abortion but then did very little about it. Their blood is on your hands if you voted for him. The blood of innocent Iraqi noncombatants killed by our troops is also on your hands.John Toppass said:Hard to believe there is any Christian that can defend their vote for abortionists (even tho they claim they are against abortion) after hearing that. My brother has been in Iraq for the last several months. He and our other troops do not go around killing innocent civilians for the fun of it, and I am outraged that you continue to insinuate this. If you want to debate abortion, fine, but kindly stop insulting our brave troops who are out serving their country while we sit in our comfortable homes safe and snug.JustChristian said:Bush was an abortionist. So you think soldiers in war is comparable to abortion, murdering a baby?JustChristian said:Bush was an abortionist. Millions of abortions occurred during his administration. If you will notice, this tactic is a favorite of the liberals. When they cannot deny facts, they start a rabbit trail hoping to shift the focus to some topic they can prevail in; maybe another topic OR questioning the character of the poster.---lame attempt to justify ones support for a President who condones the murder of the helpless.

Why so many others don't see this is due to their decisions to remain blind to the truth!Scarlett O. said:Here's Obama's speech in it's entirety.
Again, in his last words, he insinuates that babies are burdens. And he insinuates that motherhood isn't compatible with getting an education, having a fulfilling career, nor being treated fairly.
He, in stating that girls should have no limits to their dreams as boys have no limits, implies that fatherhood is of no consequence to a man and that motherhood is a dream killer.
Sickening.
