What bothers me is race is automatically assumed if the victim was black. That does not seem right to me.
Me neither. Some of these assumptions border on profiling which is what we are fighting

I do not know if the other white officer, the black officer, or the Asian officer had any against them but it looks like Chauvin was problematic regardless of race.
was there information that he had received Jesus as His Lord?Floyd must be smiling in and fromView attachment 3949 heaven.

There it is again, completely backward. Fighting profiling with racism is hypocrisy in action.Me neither. Some of these assumptions border on profiling which is what we are fighting
I am not sure.Jon, Do you think that will be brought up in the trial - to prove he is an equal opportunity offender?

I agree. At the same time it is hard for people not to draw conclusions that may not be factual. We all have preconceived thoughts and our experiences shape our conclusions.Me neither. Some of these assumptions border on profiling which is what we are fighting
How?Every second of the close to nine minutes screams racism
I am not sure.
The issue, I think, will be that the officer had taken control of Floyd and therefore responsibility for his safety.
I suspect the officer did not realize the severity of Floyd's condition. But he was still responsible.
Fair trial? Witch hunt is what will happen.Something tells me that there is more to the story - In fact, I dont think his lawyer has said anything - we will just have to wait.
I'm thinking the other reports will come up- to show that yes he has done it - but in spite of race - he only used the force needed to keep the suspect under control. In fact at one point there were apparently 3 officers kneeling on him. WHY? - was he still resisting - was he under the influence of drugs - -
There very well could be a lot more to this story that we are not aware of.
Lets have a true fair trial - with all facts presented.
Hmmm - should the defense insist that there should be a couple of LEO's on the jury?
