Cruz blames Trump for the antics of Bernie's people.

Not true.

Cruz blames Trump for Brussels.

Not true.

He's calling for local law enforcement to step up patrolling of Muslim neighborhoods. That is not calling for more government, that is simply deploying existing resources to a problem.

But wait! Trump wants to create a U.S. Deportation Force, and a National Muslim Registry Database!

I wonder which proposal would lead to bigger government--having local law enforcement take on another task, or creating a Ewe-idge U.S. bureaucracy to register Muslims and deport illegal immigrants.

Cruz is another Obama. Junior Senator wanting to be POTUS. I don't trust him.

Yeah! So there!

Besides Obama running as a junior senator for President, there is Cruz, Rubio, also there was John Edwards, Bob Kerrey, Robert Kennedy, John Kennedy, etc. etc. I'm sure I'm forgetting a bunch.

As long as a person is a natural born US citizen and 35 years old or older they can run.

<SNIP>.

I don't like this idea, and it behooves me why we never hear these same folks talking about stepping up patrols of white neighborhoods after some old, white guy who says he's a Christian shoots up something?

This is a slippery slope that does not need to be gone down.

Old white guys don't strap bombs around their waists and blow up airports.

They don't fly jets into skyscrapers.

They don't ram bomb-laden boats into naval ships.

They don't put bombs inside boomboxes and place them on airplanes.

They don't throw handicapped people off of cruise ships.

The domestic terrorism perpetrated by the old white guys is no less destructive than that by Islamic radicals.

No, it's not.

Surely you know the difference between terrorism and some guy going on a shooting spree.

It depends. When I see a pattern of behavior coming out of one group of people and people thinks it's a problem, but the same people don't think or want to take action against another group of people with a similar pattern of behavior, it causes red flags to be waved before me.

Cruz wants to police Muslim neighborhoods differently from the way white neighborhoods are policed. Blacks have complained of this very same thing for decades.

And unless he's willing to police the white neighborhoods the same, he needs to let this go. Muslims in this country haven't blown up anything in Brussels. So for what reason would we be targeting their neighborhoods as a result of that while ignoring the neighborhoods of the folks who actually have committed acts of domestic terrorism against this country?

But you trust Trump? You're kidding. Right?

Thank you. His statement makes absolutely no sense. Cruz at least acts as though he has a modicum of decorum and good sense about him.

But RD2 trusts Trump because like Trump, he is angry, and Trump says what he wants to say. He's on his third wife. And if there was not enough trust to stay committed to his wife, why on earth would any sound person trust what he has presented over what Cruz presents?

It's borderline insane for a person to say that he doesn't trust Cruz but that he trusts a two-bit, philandering, lying adulterer like Trump. But then again, look who has implied it.

Divide and conquer.
The GOP has been shattered by internal conflicts.

Looks like we will be having a coronation of our new queen next year (assuming she is not in jail and/or Bernie doesn't win).

Oh-no, that means 4 to 8 more years of Bill in the white house.

JFK was the junior senator from Massachusetts. But, he was well into his second term when he ran for POTUS.
