I have had my salvation questioned by a poster (he got no rabbit just a report to the mods), and been treated harshly by some. I mean people constantly correcting my grammar and doing so after being told to stop and things like this. I admit I have not been the most polite person to people that treat me in such ways and this would be my weakness or my sin. I think people on this board need to re-read 1 Corinthians 13 and try to show more love towards others here. I pray that I will control myself.

To those newer to this site- I think it is important to understand this Gentleman's posting history to better understand his unhappiness with others.

To Evan- Harsh treatment is not the expression of an opinion that you do not like. If you do not want advice, do not ask for it.

I do not write this to be harsh.

This is not true entirely. Matt Wade is just one of 4 people that I am aware of that has stood up to the bullying.

Your distaste for advice that conflicts with your own predetermined decisions is well-known. Exhibit A: "The Rabbit".

Again, I do not write this to be harsh.

Why do you pounce on me and continue to remind me of my faults?

Evan, it's probably not prudent to publicly make a post like this for obvious reasons. Just privately make your self-corrections and people will notice the change.Thumbsup

Oh, John, did your feelings get hurt again? So you feel you need to pull out 1 Cor 13 to try to make others feel guilty?

Do you know why people constantly criticize your grammar? Because you're using it wrong (specifically who/whom), and it makes you sound stupid, or at least trying to put on airs. If you'd actually just pay attention to the correction and start using them correctly, you know what would happen? People would stop criticizing your grammar. Know what means? That we're actually trying to help you. But you're too stubborn and prideful to take it for what it is: constructive criticism, meant to help.

So then you make ANOTHER post about people being mean to you (this is not your first, or second, or even third such post), expecting--what, exactly? That people will line up to say they're sorry?

I fully expect to be reported for this post.

Folks, this is a debate forum. If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.

While can, and should be, civil in our tone, the point around here is to cotend for your point and discuss. I believe the OP has posted several of these kinds of threads around here. Frankly, I don't engage with him because I've discerned my time is better spent in conversation with others. While we shouldn't be questioning the salvation of others around here, it is reasonable to expect a certain level of maturity...both spiritual and emotional.

If this board is more important than talking to others, engaging with those far from Jesus, even loving your families, any of us need to step away. Maybe it's time for some to take a break.
