Being nicer to people on this board

Some on this board are very rude. In response they get a rabbit or a Hog pic, but I would not need to give these out if everyone would behave. I suggest people be nicer and impress me with your behavior and then maybe then you won't see anymore animals.

Your animal pic posts are silly and no one takes them seriously. No one is concerned with impressing you. You would be taken more seriously if you would refrain from your own silliness and respond to reasonable questions about your assertions. At this point you have avoided reasonable questions that are not rude.

Evan,

This will just start more conflict between you and others. "I suggest people be nicer and impress me..." I doubt anyone is here to impress anyone. Not you, not me, not the mods.

This post seems intended to gets others to attack you. Don't take things so personal. 99% of the people here have a passion for God. That passion shows when there views are challenged. Better to have a group of passion filled, debating Christians than apathetic pew riders.

Is that right? According to your friend Preacher on the other board this is a very bad place.

Are you trying to explain away your behavior?

This board(large chunk of the membership) disagrees with his theology. He thinks the theology is bad on this board. I doubt he thinks the people are bad. Other than 2 or 3 people :) Some of the arguments get rough here. I quickly had to learn to not take it personal.

Do you even realize the irony of this post? You admit that giving people animals is meant to be insulting (although I don't think anyone takes it that way) and then tell people not to be insulting? May I suggest you try to take the high ground, you might be surprised at how that changes the response you get. What I have learned from observing message boards is that most people on here respond tit for tat, which means its quite easy to control how people respond to you over time.

Wow.

Someone please post the definitions of "arrogance" and "hypocrisy"; or better, post some links to some books about those topics.

Intentionally nice post.....

Wait for it....

Wait for it...

Wait for it....

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things

Cream colored ponies and crisp apple strudels
Doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings
These are a few of my favorite things.

Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes
Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes
Silver white winters that melt into springs
These are a few of my favorite things

Some are rude. But remember that this is not a verbal conversation. Sometimes people infer what was not implied. And of course some will attempt to speak truth rather than a lie to make someone feel good. But ultimately I don’t think anyone is here to impress you with their behavior. I know there is no one seeking your approval or your correction.

And I think that I can honestly and accurately say that most here believe posting pictures of animals as a response to be a sign of childish immaturity. When you respond by posting animals instead of backing up your comments and answering questions people assume that you don't know what you are talking about. This may not be the case, but this is what people assume. It has become a running joke on this forum, but it is still childish immaturity. As always, I don't want to speak for others - and they are more than welcome to correct my impression.

Jon - mostly correct. We each know and understand that we will answer to God for our behavior/actions everywhere, including on this message board.

Each of us. Including John.

I would agree with this.
