if there is one sin that we deliberately hold onto- if we say, "I want to be a Christian but I won't stop doing that"- that sin will be enough to damn us

So one who is elect, whose name was written before the foundation of the world, is capable of doing this? Having their name blotted out and perishing in hell for eternity?

1 Cor. 6:9. 'Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived.'

Ah yes, but I'm one of the elect.

Yes, but I have such strong assurance of salvation.

What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin; As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: Rom 3:9,10

What does one do to change that? Birth himself? And then?

Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 1 Peter 1:5

However? Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness. I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness. For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness. What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death. Ironic isn't it that I made a thread or two on the errors of FGT and people are crying and falsely assuming it was against Arminians. I saw a thread entitled 'The Reprobate Calvinist' on here. Any cals whine about that being allowed?
