Ben Carson’s Message to America Is Going Viral… Here’s Why

Speaking on “This Week” Sunday, 2016 GOP presidential candidate Ben Carson made a shocking but spot-on statement about the greatest threats facing our nation.

“I believe our country’s biggest threats come from within,” Carson said in an interview with guest host Martha Raddatz. “From failing to address our incredible fiscal irresponsibility, by allowing our populace to become enemies with each other, stirring up hatred and strife within our country, by allowing education to take a second seat, by giving a lot of lip service but not actually taking care of it.”

The root of these problems lies in the effective dumbing down of America. We used to have “a relatively well-educated populous,” whereas these days, we have legions of low-information men and women who blindly feast on any narrative — however disingenuous — the establishment media feeds them, while ignoring what’s really going on.

Meanwhile, as our population grows more uninformed and apathetic, the populations of other countries grow both smarter and more numerous.

“We only have 322 million in this country,” Carson continued. “We have to compete against China and India, who have over 1 billion.”

“We have to develop all of our people. And we have to start thinking in a group sense, how do we develop, and how do we make America a success for everyone?”

Doesn't sound like a conservative value. I thought it was the liberals who were trying to get rid of individualism?

Hillary might tear up Dr. Carson in a debate--after all, she is a Yale lawyer and a prime example of how to get to the top without a conscience.

Carson is not timid. I once thought he was but he has shown otherwise in these debate. Further, he is an intellectual giant compared to Shrillary.

I would like to agree with your comment about his timidity, but I cannot. I hope that I am proven wrong.

American voters are too fickle and stupid to care about intelligence. What matters to them is style, promises, and feelings. I think that two Obama terms are evidence of that.

Hillary's political career goes back to Watergate. As a lawyer, she excels in sophistry and the Democrats overlook her corruption in a grab for power. Hillary might do to Dr. Carson what Obama did to Mitt Romney when Romney tried to say that Russian was a big threat to the USA and when Romney refused to press the point of what Hillary did in Libya.

The Democrats will smear Dr. Carson as an Uncle Tom, just as they already are and Hillary will belittle Dr. Carson's lack of experience in foreign affairs while claiming that the latest big thing is to have someone with female parts in the White House.

Hillary is much like Eva Peron except that Eva was pretty.

Not to mention an extremely skilled liar who always has the poor me, I'm female, card to play whenever it suits her.

Hillary reminds me so much of the fascist Eva Peron who helped destroy the wealth of Argentina a hundred years ago.

One hundred years ago? Review your history. She had not been born yet.
Oh, I know that she and her husband were Mussolini worshippers--I was thinking that Argentina was wealthy 100 years ago. I should have written the wealth of Argentina of a hundred years ago. Hillary reminds me of the fascist Eva Peron because of the role of Eva Peron in her husband's fascist schemes and the role of Hillary in the Clinton legacy of big government welfare state and a shrinking middle class.

As you point out, Rolf, Eva was born in 1919 and died of cancer in the early 50's. She was a movie star as well as a politician of the fascist stripe.
