Best Ice Cream

We don't have Blue Bell or Mayfield here in Colorado, the best we have is Breyer's. Their 'Natural Vanilla' is the closest tasting commercial ice cream to homemade vanilla, in my opinion.

My favorite flavors are all 'old style' flavors that are not popular and hard to find such as pistachio or spumoni. Even chocolate chip has disappeared (at least I can add mini chocolate chips to a good vanilla brand.)

Tried Blue Bell this past week. They must be moving into our market & it was on sale. I think I may change my vote --- heavenly!

For those who may be traveling through Alabama this summer...

If you are traveling south on I-65, be sure exit at mile marker #205 in Clanton, AL. Turn right off the exit ramp and look for the peach place on the right. They make homemade peach ice cream. All brands pale in comparison! Plus, you can buy delicious peaches to take home with you.
