I'm just a curious bystander, and have to ask....
Is the whole of your theology built upon human reasoning and empty philosophy? Or is there any scripture from which you reason?

The young ones know the answer they not peer pressure driven, tell you what you want to hear, can't think for themselves brainwashed robots yet.
ANY Christian can tell me the answer to "Does God want you to sin?" in a split second.
There is just one tiny 5% group that tap dances rolls around and gets upset with that question.
Do you always make assumptions such as:
Assuming that question leaves my theology on its rear, when I didn't state any position?
Assuming I was/am upset about something?
I simply asked a question which I've asked to people on both sides of your retarded debates - why in the world does it seem that 98% of all your supposed theological debating centers around philosophy?
Why, when someone quotes scripture, are you attacking scripture with scripture, or attacking scripture with philosophy?
This entire thread is devoted to you nailing down a MAJOR theological premise through philosophical meandering.

What I'm saying is that scripture is abundantly more important than my philosophy.
God's opinion trumps mine.
That's where you and your foes run into so many train wrecks. Each side seems to desire a God who is palatable.
I've seen it from both sides - one says he doesn't want a God who makes robots. The other says he doesn't want a God who is weaker than man.
So each has a god of his own making, and only appeals to scripture insofar as it props up this god of his own making.
So what if God were an evil monster?
So what if God catets to man's every whim?
The question is - what does scripture say?
Your appeal should always be to scripture, not what you think, or what I think, or whether something makes sense to us, or anything of the sort.

That depends on which scriptures you're talking about.
In some cases, it is a sin if you DO obey what God said to do
Lets say you pick out the scripture for me, or we both agree ok this is scripture.
Does GOD want and DESIRE for me to do as scripture commands?
Is it a sin if I don't?
What does your scripture say God wants me to do? Does he want me to sin? Does he DESIRE I don't sin?
I'm not sure you even understand what constitutes sin.
You *seem* to be so focused on sin as "doing" that you've missed the heart of God.
And you *seem* to still be trying to build an elaborate scheme from a philosophical platform.
Here, I'll help you out. Just take whatever answer you're hoping to browbeat out of me and run with it.

If for a minute I adopted the Calvinist position, I certainly wouldn't be upset over anything you said or correct your error.

The #1 betrayal we should be concerned with is
the betrayal of Jesus' sheep by His shepherds,
most of which have turned out to be mere hirelings!
They have NOT been teaching the word of God
as laid out in the NT, with the result being:
Jesus' sheep are in very grave danger!
OSAS is a lie.
Grace-only is a lie.
The pre-trib rapture is a lie.
It's okay to habitually sin is a lie.
It's okay to take the mark of the beast is a lie.
We are not going through the tribulation is a lie.
All of these teachings (and more) are lies!
