They were in San Antonio two years ago, and I went with my father's senior adult group. Had a good time and enjoyed Lowry, Burger, Phelps, Penrod, GVB, the Isaacs, and the Crabbs with many others. Saw Bill the next day at Fiesta Texas at the snack area, and heard him talking with a college student girl that was cleaning up the tables after people left.

[sarcasm] I was appalled at the tip he left for the girl at the snack bar... I mean someone as rich as him could surely afford more than a $100 tip for a poor college student. Some people are just so chintzy![/sarcasm]

I, for one, do enjoy some of their music. The Homecoming shows are usually on television here in the Commonwealth.

There is one guy in the quartet, I think his name is Guy Penrod - who has very long hair. Could someone please tell him that long hair like that, on a guy, doesn't look good.......................EVER!

    Regards to all,
    BiR

    Come on, BiR!

I think you'd look good with hair like that! It's definitely a statement...

I love to hear them sing. They have been bringing in some new names with them that can really sing good.

Why don't we just throw out the tv and radio while we throwing out the best gospel group around. Let us junk the car to, if it is a Ford they give money to homosexual groups. Let's really get started bashing any and everthing.

True, but there's a big difference between not understanding the Trinity and flat out denying it.

His teachings on the Trinity aside, there are other reasons to avoid T. D. Jakes. The truth is out there for those who want it.

Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine you have learned; and avoid them. Romans. 16:17

Bro. Talmadge, There are many people who can sing well. We would do well to not let our emotions cloud our judgment.
