BHO is NOT Reagan or Lincoln

For nearly two years BHO has preached that he would bring change to the WH. Now that he has the chance, all he can do is spout things that two Republican Presidents did. I hate to inform you BHO lovers, but BHO is NOT Reagan, nor is he Lincoln.:sleeping_2:

He needs to move on with his platform of change, and stop trying to win over the republican wannabes with his endearing words and false admiration of the greatest presidents the GOP can hold up with pride.

Enough is enough....

I like the Lincoln & FDR comparisons. Obama is more likely to jail reporters & Congresspeople who don't agree with him than any other president in our lifetime. Get ready for the draft, as well. Not fearmongering, just comparing him to Lincoln & FDR. Hope yer all still praising the zero when he tells you your kids belong to him.

Do you believe under todays party definitions, Lincoln would be a Republican? He forcefully injected government all over the south and unlike Johnson who succeeded him, there is no way he would have just left the freed slaves to make a way for themselves or allowed the Jim Crow laws to be enacted.

Bush would be a tough one to beat when it comes to jailing folks...

If he does, I hope it's early in his presidency so Bush will still get the credit. He is the one who has stretched the military to its limits and has soldiers on the 4th, 5th and 6th combat tour. That is ridiculous. Perhaps fresh troops might be needed.

Unbelievable. You are already blaming Bush, or you want it to appear to be his fault. You have no desire for the nation to be successful.

And the first statement I'd like to see you support. I'd like to know what reporters & dissidents have been jailed. More cowardice & dishonesty from the yellow pulpit.

It is not any more ridiculous than any other war.

Who lead us into the wars? We wouldn't need a draft without the wars? Why should Obama get credit for the mess Bush got us in to?

Think about it, why are we suddenly releasing them and no charges have ever been filed?

Other wars, our soldiers do a tour in harms way and come home not return and return and return and return to harms way. I have great respect for our men and women in uniform but I think we've done about all we can do in Iraq. If there is such thing as victory we've had it for some time now.

When those you went to liberate starts asking you to leave then I think it's time to go.

I was thinking today how BO reminds me of Reagan in his speaking abilities.

He has the Charisma...

I don't want Barack Obama to be Abraham Lincoln, or Franklin Delano Roosevelt, or Ronald Reagan. I want Barack Obama to be Barack Obama.

Again, the Iraq war drums started with Al Gore's speech in 1992. You have to lie to say otherwise.

Again, who ? Show me reporters & dissidents jailed by Bush.

That is because there are none. If memory serves me right, there was one reporter jailed for refusing to give a source in the CIA leak case. That had nothign to do with Bush.

I didn't say Bush jailed reporters, I said he jailed folks. And he did so without charging them. And since he has a history of jailing folks without cause, I believe he would be more likely to "jail reporters & Congresspeople who don't agree with him".

What folks ? The GITMO folks ? Since you won't identify these "folks"......

Bush didn't jail any reporters, or congresspeople. Lincoln & FRD did. I think both examples give a good idea of how the zero will deal with troublemakers. He will be like Lincoln & FDR.

During WWII once a soldier went overseas he was generally there until the end of the war. Some men who fought in Europe went to the Pacific after the Germans surrendered.
