After they sinned, for what specific reason were Adam and Eve banished from the Garden of Eden?

To prevent them from eating of the Tree of Life and living forever....Small world! I have been teaching through Genesis for 8 weeks now too! Just opened up the "sons of God" and Nephilim worm-can in Genesis 5 last week...gotta try to put the lid back on it Sunday! Thanks for posting the notes Gabriel!! :wavey: Maybe I will throw out some of mine if anyone wants.

I would love any help on Genesis! We start next Wednesday...I am just reading through it now!

True...Adam and Eve were not banished from the Garden of Eden simply because they disobeyed God, they were banished so that they would not be able to eat the fruit of the Tree of Life and live forever.

"And the LORD God said, "The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever." So the LORD God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken." (Genesis 3:22-23)

THose are the only ones I could think of too except..Lucifer before he fell.

Y'all need to dig a little deeper.........btw, those are three of the angels, and here's the fourth:

Revelation 9:11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.

Is that a fallen angel?

2 of the unclean beasts..7 of the clean beasts
Correct!

"The LORD then said to Noah, "Go into the ark, you and your whole family, because I have found you righteous in this generation. Take with you seven of every kind of clean animal, a male and its mate, and two of every kind of unclean animal, a male and its mate, and also seven of every kind of bird, male and female, to keep their various kinds alive throughout the earth."" (Genesis 7:1-3)

True and the tree of life was and is in the midst of the paradise of the God, therefore just what was meant here? And said to him the Jesus Amen I am saying to you today with me you shall be in the paradise.

I have never put those two together! So what are you saying paradise is?
