I took just_ahead's advice and put Bible tabs on the Thru the Bible outlines at the front of my McGee Bible Bibles with Old Scofield 1917 Notes
I decided not to add tabs to the Bible section though. I did use the "Old Testament" and "New Testament" tabs on the Bible section, though and put those on the TOP of the pages, instead of the sides. Unlike the notes, the top of the Bible pages list the book title, so it makes sense to move the tabs I will use for the Bible there.
The Bible that I have is so much easier to use now, so I am happy to wait to do some serious research before choosing a Bible that I hope to have long-term, and that can serve as my ONLY Bible.
I have never used tabs before, and I don't think I want tabs on my next Bible, either. I am glad that I got to try them out for the first time, and I expect I will use them again on NOTES and in journals. They are absolutely the perfect solution to the dense and unlabeled McGee outlines.
What do others here think about Bible tabs? Do you use them? When and how? Any tips for people that are new or unfamiliar to Bible tabs?
I watched some youtube videos and that helped prepare me better than just reading the instructions.
