Bickering

Anybody else notice an upsurge in the amount of bickering lately? I don't refer to honest debate, but rather the personal stuff. Some of it rings of a grade-school playground.

But then again, maybe it's just my perception.

Arbo....what ever do you mean? Are we all not brethren? But have you noticed the absence of many Doctrines of Grace folks? You should!

Next, have you also noted the rise of ....er, ahhh the ....oh how do you say it without being indiscreet......words fail me. Ohhhhhhh well.

EWF-.

Oh I know, baptists and arguing are like chocolate and peanut butter; but it seems like folks are a bit freer with the personal insults lately. It's a a pity. Makes Christians, and Baptists particularly , look bad.

And this is the very reason that I do not post much anymore. Honest open discussion is something that is almost gone in this age of electronic communication. It is much easier to insult or name call if you don't have to look at their face or know their real name. What a shame. There is a big difference between debate and school yard arguements!!!

We all have our opinions and we all like to think that we are right, but the fact is there is only one that knows the correct answer to all our theologically differences. That is God. In the morning of the resurrection it will be revealed and we will know the answers.

You Know, Jeff...

...I always try to inject just that into my comments. I want others to know that what I am putting forth is simply my opinion, and that WE will have to wait until WE get to heaven to find out the truth (as to who may have been closer to being right), and that it doesn't matter a hill of beans any ways, because theology and denominational preference aside, what should matter is if we are saved, baptized and following Him? How we follow Him (personal beliefs) doesn't matter in the greater scheme of things.

But that doesn't mean too much to some, as it is more important to right down here...what a shame!

I don't know if it's more prevalent recently, but I hardly get on the BB anymore. I used to log in every day; now I might look at the site a couple times a month, if that.

Does seem to be alot more lately, I don't glean as much from the majority of threads like I used to. Pretty soon everybody will have everybody else on the ignore list. Seems like there is enough bickering in our local churches, would be nice to have a place for some edification.

That is an inflammatory comment, and I will fight this to the Supreme Court of heaven. How dare you? It is anti-Calvin, anti-Arminian, anti-Obama, anti-Romney, pro Rush Limbaugh and has KJVO overtones. There is no way one can take this comment other than seven day Creation and Pretrib Rapture. If I had my way, I would sentence you to be a missionary from a Primitive Baptist church in Utah. No doubt you have total disgregard for the Pearl of Great Price. May the bird of paradise fly up your nose.

I must remember this for future use.

May the fleas of a thousand camels infest your armpits.
LOL, I have a pad of mock parking tickets in my glove box for people who take up two spaces at Walmarts, etc. It goes through several comments like that for being rude with parking habits. It has a place for license number, make, model, etc. The only thing is one day, the person is going to be coming back the the car the very moment I am putting it on the windshield. If you read a story from Kentucky of a shooting over a bogus parking ticket, you will know what happened.
