Some voters would have voted for a turd or corpse vs Trump.
I saw that about 30% of Biden's votes came from people who voted against Trump, like anyone but Trump, not that they liked Biden. Such people ought to just stay home and not vote at all.
Such people are the reason the founders setup an electoral college in case the people vote for dumb reasons. Today too many people are dumb and dumber.
