The state governors could support and cause one to be implemented on state levels such a policy, at least the radical left democrat ones easily would do that. Nationwide this is not going to happen though because of republican governors who listen to the people in their states. On the nightly news, people who resist mask wearing are constantly shamed and berated as a group, being a tool of the left, the news media can not be trusted. You see about this or that church, or this or that young people having a party, and people not wearing masks spreading the virus, but then nothing is said about rioters and looters on the left spreading the virus. IMO, the radicalized left here are becoming demonized and more evil every day.

Fauci can not say he requires it as he has no authority. He support it though meaning if he did have the authority he would require it, really then there is no difference , just that he lacks the opportunity to enforce what he wishes. It is like a man lusting after a woman, in his heart he has committed adultery with her and really there is no difference between that and as if he had done the actual deed.

27 You have heard that it was said, You shall not commit adultery.

28 But I say to you that everyone who so much as looks at a woman with evil desire for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

The thoughts and intentions of the heart are judged as are the deeds. Otherwise, you could say there are no sinful thoughts and hearts, just actions.

Democrat socialists are demanding control freaks, there is no freedom of other views tolerated. My view is they are all of them becoming socialists which means they are Marxists. I have read they want only one party to rule, meaning get rid of all republicans. They do love the Chinese communists as they have one party rule in China and would love to see that happen here in the US.

For a real practical example, if you dont think they can affect you, they want to eliminate your ability to purchase gasoline to stop global warming, they can do that by punishing taxes on gas and diesel. Poor people in big cities living off the government, probably cant recall the last time they bought a gallon of gas.

Why just masks? Why not bubble suits in which all of us breathe our own supply of pure oxygen? And then helmets. After all, pedestrians are killed every year by oncoming vehicles, by debris falling, and by crooks coming up from behind to wrap over the head and take everything of value on our person. Why not metal suits then? Not medieval suits of armor, necessarily, but our skin and body parts are always vulnerable to falls and other accidents resulting in sprains, pulled muscles, and fractures. In fact, make it the law that no person ever leaves his or her home without escort in a highly armored, atmosphere-contained vehicle.............
