So what should we do about the systematic racism of 80% of NBA players are POC?
How can we bring more Latinos, American Indians, and others into the NBA to make it more like the makeup of the USA.
There is also tremendous gender inequality between the NBA and the WNBA where equal pay does not exist even at the highest levels. Another example of systematic inequality holding 50% of the population down and keeping them "second class citizens".

pay equality??

if they was to play a game between the NBA all-stars and the WNBA all stars - who would win.
9 out 10 times it would be the NBA- - thus it is equal pay.

Are you saying merit matters? Are you advocating that the people that dropped out of school DESERVE to earn less money because they lack the same opportunities as those with "white privileged" (like the Obama's)? You need to get "WOKE" my brother (in Christ). ;) That is not the DEMOCRATIC American way.

I have no ideal what you are talking about
YOU stated that the NBA and WNBA do not have pay equality.
Are they paid the same - NO
Two basic reasons:
1) Men (generally) are better ball players than woman.
2) Interest in the WNBA is much less than the NBA
and keep in mind that TV/Radio contract payments are based on
the projected audience of said ball games.

So a good way to consider comparing apples and oranges would be to compare the average TV contract to the average salary of each league.

Sorry, I think you lost track of the sarcasm root of this topic when you suggested addressing racial inequality in the NBA.

(unless you were serious, then I completely misunderstood) :)

Methinks he doth mock the ridiculous equity notions of the Progressive Left Dems and their ilk, and rightly so, as they are void of all common sense and decency. Your privileged 'whitesplaining' will not appeal to them. Not at all. Much of this goes back to the hoopla surrounding the King-Riggs match.

They are throwing reason completely out the window and watching it smash on the concrete. To be consistent, they will have to give up women’s sports entirely. There will be only genderless players, teammates, ball persons, etc. Everyone will have to be paid according to their intersectionality. It’s only equitable. If you weren’t such an insensitive systemic racist, you would understand this. :Wink

This is how you secure the Black vote—by acknowledging systemic racism and letting them know that their lives matter.
Systemic racism? We had a black President. We have black members of Congress. We have black mayors. We have black cabinet members. We have black ambassadors. We have black professors, pastors, school board members, etc. We have black athletes. We have black businessmen that are billionaires and millionaires. But cry about systemic racism? Give me a break and stop the race baiting.
