Thanks HAMel. If you were a ball player, you'd have this out of the park. You are right, I asked the question out of seriousness YET got ridiculous comments and attempts at comic club humor. It really is disheartening when you try to discuss a topic seriously, only to have those who are so in need of attention to distract by making light of your ideas.
Seems that if they aren't interested, they would simply leave the thread to those who are; but apparently the only concern is satisfying a deficit ego.
Pity!! Between the trolls, and increasingly more attitudes that mock rather than discuss, this board is not gonna last much longer.

Not sure if you are serious, but since you want some discussion on the topic at hand here is my $0.02. I would like to agree to disagree with your statements above. I don't believe any of the above "mysterious" things you mention are real in a literal sense, and for a true born again christian there should be no fear of such nonsense. But for the lost these things are real in their minds, no different than devotion to a false religious system, etc. Just something else they are in search of trying to fill their life with, while denying Christ and the gospel.

Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false christs and false prophets and shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
