    Bipolar does have a wide spectrum but that doesn't mean there aren't people who have this disorder which is chemical or biological. Also compared to Medical doctors phychology and psychiatry is in its infancy. Remember doctors used to be barbers. And the mind is complex I wouldn't just write people off who have disorders.

    That is why we put this in the pastoral section so we, as pastors, can be better equipped to deal with people.

    John 3:16 does not resolve all illnesses, but the love of God does make a great impression on manic depressives along with the proper medical attention.
