Birth control aborts the possibility of conception by preventing fertilization.

Which is the aborting of life...which is abortion.

my belief is that life begins at conception, if there is no conception, there is not a life to abort. abort = to terminate, for example, an employer can not terminate me if I am not employed, I have no job in which to be terminated from, my job doesnt exist.

Are you the pastor of the Church of God, Baptist?
could you provide us with a link to your church doctrine statement?

Can you show me that verse?

Jeremiah, Chapter 1, 5: Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

John 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

1 Corinthians 2:15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

"By their fruits you shall know them."

The Bible proves your statements wrong. In many other scriptures it tells us clearly that we are to make judgments. I make judgments on people I have to hire. If I were in a position to hire a teacher I would not hire someone illiterate. I would make a judgment about qualifications--both spiritual and academic.

If you have broken the rules of this board you also have broken the commandments of the Lord. It was Jesus that said: "Let your yea be yea, and your nay be nay." That is a command of our Lord.
When you said "I agree" at the time you registered, and then break the rules, you break the command of the Lord; you break your word.

Since I am a moderator, I can make that judgement and am in a position to judge whether or not you have done that.

Would you consider it to be a conflict of interest and disadvantage to you if YOU and I were in a debate... on another web site and I was the moderator and I had the power to rule ....if you were not in the guidelines of the forum rules? And at any time I so desired I could ban you.

Yes or no?

And you shall surely answer to God for trying to hinder His work on another Christian forum.

I guarantee it.
Who shall answer to God?

Romans 2:1 Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.

A moderator doesn't "rule," but "moderates," that is, enforces the rules that are already in place. You would not have the power to ban anyone that you desired at any time, just as I don't now, nor do I ever. I don't ban people; the administration does. But if you act like a troll and don't abide by the rules you might give me cause to report you to the administration, in which case different moderators and the administrators will decide your fate.

Beauty is said to be in the "beholder's eyes."
Is that the same with truth, in your opinion.
Is truth so relative that it is the "truth that God told you" but no one else.
Therefore this truth is subjective, a "gnostic," mystic truth, unavailable to others.

I don't know what religion you believe in, but that is not what the Bible teaches. Jesus said: "I am the truth," and you are not Him.
The truth is contained in the Word. You don't quote much of it.

Then continue on with your birth control...don't let me persuade you to stop.

I am a senior. I have six grandchildren. You don't have to persuade me personally about the use of birth control. Obviously it is not an issue with me.
But I take seriously what the Bible teaches. You apparently don't. You only spout off opinions without any Biblical basis.

If you go to a foreign nation and come down with malaria or dengue, do you simply pray or do you see a doctor?

If your car breaks down, do you put your hands on it and pray, or do you take it to a mechanic?

I live in Canada. Taking into consideration the windchill it was minus 30 this morning. What would you do if the furnace malfunctioned? Lay hands on it and pray or call a furnace repairman immediately?

When Hezekiah got sick, what did God tell Isaiah to do?
2 Kings 20:7
--Why not just pray over him and heal him instead?
