Black cop kills white man, media hide race

Please tell me how the media is hiding the race of the police officer when it is the police department that is not releasing any details on the officer? The police chief that said, "he's not white."

And BTW, the victim had a bench warrant out for his arrest and two former convictions for robbery and obstruction of justice.

The police responded to a report of a man waving a gun around.

Look at the photo of the victim. His eyes are severely bloodshot. Looks like he's stoned on pot.

Oh, and bonus, the article is a retelling of a Rush Limbaugh tirade. Ha HA!

Sure .....

How am I busted?

And you never answered my question--"How is the media hiding the race of the police officer when the police chief is the one who said the officer is 'not white'?"

What network has sent a news team to Utah to investigate and cover this story? Where are the protesters? Maybe the white folks think if the cop killed the guy he just may have deserved it? As I say, DON'T take on the man with a badge and a gun! You will more than likely end up the loser!

Pretty cut and dry.

The proper term is…

"cut and DRIED".

Only people who buy or sell wood by the cord would know that.

Just trying' to help.

From what I have read, the deceased did not "take on the the man with a badge and a gun" he was oblivious to the policeman. He was listening to his music --not even hearing the cop or seeing him.

That makes it even more deplorable. I did not know this.

But most importantly, which staff member will Obama be sending to the funeral.

Let me guess the point of the OP.

"You just know if a black cop shoots a white kid, the national media will ignore it and bury it."

Is that about it?

Straight out of the Rush Limbaugh school of innuendo.

Once again, people, learn what the news cycle is. Learn what makes stories newsworthy.

See, here he does it again. He believes if he can tie your post (although completely unrelated) to Rush then he can belittle the op.

In reality his posts resemble Zaac quite a bit lately. No real point other than to disagree and belittle everyone else.

Like your post just now.

I don't know if you noticed but the article in the OP was all about RUSH LIMBAUGH. In fact the article appears to be a vehicle to get Rush more publicity. Jedi's post is not unrelated, it's inextricably entwined with the blowhard.

I await your apology.

That was fantastic but you won't get it. He always bloviates about the OP but usually just drops in to do a drive by dig at anything that even remotely deviates from the extreme right. Then he cries about personal insults when he gets owned like you just did to him here. He probably won't swallow his pride and and ackowledge your point. He'll just disappear from this thread and go liberal hunting elsewhere.

I refuse to believe you don't know the answer to this.

There is this little gem.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/08/24/justin-cosma-ferguson-police_n_5705409.html

and this one

http://www.thedailybeast.com/articl...rguson-cops-were-caught-in-a-bloody-lie.html#

and then this

http://www.newsguild.org/news/guild-letter-ferguson-leaders-decries-medias-treatment

Take into account the demographics of the area, the unproportional representation in the police force (along with the recorded data on who gets stopped and for what) and the local government and then tell me you don't have a raised eyebrow about the Ferguson area. There is a culture of distrust in that town that goes back before Michael Brown. That is a recipe for racially tense riots if I've ever seen one. When that happens, you get what? A pretty significant news story as ITL pointed out.
