Is what true? Are you saying that we need to investigage whether the entire black race is nothing more than a bunch of people that like to play victim? :tonofbricks:
A statement that it is typical for black people to act like victims is not a statement you will ever prove to be true or valid. Generalizing an entire race is beyond stupid. Black people are a product of whatever conditions they are brought up in just like any other person. Socioeconomic status, education, upbringing, religious preference all play into what makes a person. I'm sorry but black people haven't exactly curbed the market on playing victim either.

I guess you missed the gist of the scripture I quoted, anyway, rd said 'typical', not 'all'. But then profiling or stereotyping on his part would be a horrendous crime also, right? People were sent to the gulag for less than that!
It's possible I did. We may be just be talking past each other here. "Not all" is not good enough though. The word "typical" implies that the behavior, traits, and characteristics are the norm. It is profiling and it is stereotyping to say that crying vicitm is a typical characteristic of a black person, so I have a problem with it. Fair enough.

He has made it worse because he is a racist, but he is an equal opportunity racist. The black half thinks whites are fools and the white half thinks blacks are stupid.
When Obama has come up squarely against a racial problem or situation, he has always blown it.
He tends to govern as a black man first and an American somewhere further down the line.
Being the mean spirited thin skinned person he is, he just can't put aside his skin color and do what's best for the country.
How many white presidents have blown it in reverse?
How many white presidents have been white first, placing non-white Americans behind?
How many white presidents have done the same?
How long was it in our history before a white president had a black man or woman in his cabinet?
How long was it in our history before a white president nominated a black man or woman to the Supreme Court?
How many white presidents defended slavery?
How many white presidents supported and defended segregation?

But I had high hopes for him in the race relations department.
He's crashed and burned everywhere.
And you excuse it because a president 150 years ago dealt with race relations the way they were dealt with in those times? And you're saying Obama is not more enlightened than they were? You didn't expect more? Better?
