Blacks Must Confront Reality

It's OK, Zach.

Nobody here expects you to confront reality.

It's okay carpro. Nobody really expects a lot of the old white men in America to really get it. Perhaps that's why God is allowing them and that wickedness to be moved into the minority.

See what you in your wickedness refuse to do, God can bring about anyhow.

We've observed your head in the sand racial attitudes for too long.

And black and white people have observed the head in the sand racial attitudes of privileged old, racially prejudiced white men for too long.

Keep your head down there when the minority becomes the majority. So keep em coming God. From Mexico, from Venezuela, from Central and South America. Keep 'em coming Lord until the minority is the majority.

Because you have it wrong.

Blacks are about 13% of the U.S. population.

Crimes committed by blacks (according to your chart) exceed 13% in every category except DUI and liquor laws (under age drinking?).

Percentage of rapes by blacks is 32.9% - assault 33.6% - arson 25.7%

It's even worse when you take into account that over 90 percent of the crimes blacks commit are committed by black males, who comprise only 6-7% of the population.

They will not change until they quit listening to race hustlers like Al Sharpton, Zaac, and a large number of democrat politicians. They pay no attention to blacks like Justice Clarence Thomas or Dr. Ben Carson who overcame significant hurdles to become very successful men.

Even coming out of slavery there were blacks like Booker T. Washington and George Washington Carver who made significant contributions to this country. There are a large number of business men in this country who are successful, some CEO''s of large corporations.

Sheriff David Clarke:
“If black lives matter, why are they not encouraging young black couples to get married before they have children?” he asked. “These kids are growing up and they have only one parent and no one to guide them and correct them as they grow up. So if black life mattered, I’m trying to figure out who it matters to, because it certainly doesn’t seem to be important to the protesters, to the black politicians like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, the Urban League, the Congressional Black Caucus, the NAACP and many black preachers. It doesn’t seem to matter to them about black-on-black violence, abortion and the number of out-of-wedlock births.”

“It’s because black life doesn’t matter and black Americans need to get over their blackness and return to character building,” he said. “Most blacks are suffering due to lack of moral character, and that is not a race issue. They need to return to God and build character out of the love of what is right, not out of color.

“They have to get over their blackness, and that way you will be able to judge people based on character, not color.”

It is sad that blacks will listen to people like race hustlers Al Sharpton rather than men like Sheriff Clarke. I reposted the quote for the benefit of Zaac.

Please don't generalize OR. You should have said some blacks. I know that many blacks do not like Al Sharpton and his money-grubbing, race-hustling ways.

And that is a fair criticism of OR. And others. The generalization will not allow folks to take him seriously. Zaac is completely out of line here but OR could do some work on his habit of saying "blacks".

Exactly and this is what I have been trying to get across here for some time. RD2 did it a few weeks ago and my tedious back and forth with Carpro last night reflected the same problem I notice often on this board. The tendency to assign stereotypical negative behaviors to an entire race. That is called racism no matter how many people use the race card copout. You would be hard pressed to find a positive generalization of black people on this board and that is not a good thing. If a new black member wandered onto this board I would be a little embarrassed at what they would find in the comments at times.

That being said I agree that Zaac needs to take a step back. He's a solid guy but he comes off so strong and attacks this subject with such a manic pace that the good points he does make get lost in the noise too often. Pick your spots Zaac.

Baloney.

If it was opinion, your argument might have legs. But, it's fact backed up by statistics, making your own opinion just so much tripe.

But you have to make accusations of racism because you have no answer for the facts. In fact, you won't even discuss them.

So bring on your accusations of racism. That's all you have.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you. You used a generalization without any qualifier and that's a fact. You said "blacks" and that is it. That indicates the race as a whole. You will never be able to show me any statistic that shows that most black people display the tendencies you speak of because they don't exist. You have posted statistics but I don't recall them adding up to anything close to over 50% of black people which would then give you a case to use the term "most blacks."

I think that deep down you know what you said was wrong. Just own it and learn from it and we can all move on. I don't even know why you are digging your heels in here because a more careful wording could probably get your point across without condemning the entire race. You just don't want to do it for some reason.

Refute the facts and statistics.

Your opinion is just so much tripe.

Now let's have another accusation of racism. That's all you have.
