BLM and Antifa run out of town

About 75 BLM and Antifa member showed up in Weatherford, Tx. yesterday to demand the removal of a statue at the court House. They were greeted by several hundred local citizens.

This is a report from a local:

Protest Update: Four bus loads of BLM, ANTIFA and EIE. Showed up at 5:00PM to an awaiting crowd of Weatherford citizens armed to the teeth - even many women carried AR-15 rifles. The rioters gathered at the courthouse and split into two groups that were instantly surrounded by 250+ very angry locals. ANTIFA lesson learned: Weatherford isn't Dallas or Fort Worth. These folks weren't going to have anything these idiots were going to bring. By 6:00 they were doing the walk of shame back to their busses and headed back to Fort Worth courtesy of the Parker County Sheriffs. If you were wondering, they were also armed but outnumbered 5 to 1. No one got hurt other than the BLM/ANTIFA/EIE egos. The looks on their faces reminded me of the night of the 2016 election. Precious. P.S. Black Lives over White Feelings....shirts.

Then the guy in the yellow shirt goes looking for his antagonizer, finds him and punches him in the head, then runs off! (about the 23 second mark.)

I read the Star telegram article that this report is based on, and discarded it because of an obvious bias in favor of the protesters.All they could talk about is the "violence". Truth is there was very little. The ST made big deal out of the protesters saying they weren't going to touch the statue, but they showed up with their usual sharpened umbrellas , as well as crow bars, hammers and rope. The crowd there to greet them is the only thing that prevent them for "touching" the statue.

What the lying leftist media won't tell you, or will hide deep in their "report:

1. This statue had been protested numerous times by locals without incident.

2. The county does not own the statue, even though it is on county property, so constitutionally the owners of the statue are in a weak position.

3. The group that owns it had already agreed to move it, pending a funding drive. The protest was meaningless.

4. The FW Star Telegram made a big deal out of there not being any police on the court house grounds. Here's why.: The court House is on County property and there were most certainly County Sheriff's Deputies there. As a matter of fact, they made the only 2 arrests that were made. There were plenty of city police there, but they were on city property. Texas State Troopers were also present.

Here's what caused the problem:

"What kicked the counter-protest contingency into a higher gear was when the local protesters invited outside members to attend, he said.

“If [protesters] would have kept to their local group, you wouldn’t have many” counter-protesters, Black said.

Black said his group wanted to make sure there was no havoc or disruption to businesses here.

The protest had been going smoothly for the first part of the day, Black said. Protesters and counter protesters were waving signs and yelling back and forth but remaining civil.

“For the most part it was just bickering back and forth,” Black said. “Some people were laughing. It wasn’t tense and angry.”

The mood changed after outsiders arrived that afternoon, he said.

“They got there around 4:30 or 5,” Black said. “They were dressing in full tactical gear, which is vest, face masks, all black, and they unloaded a trunk of a Honda that had nothing but long rifles in it.”

Black estimated one-in-five protesters carried weapons, but news media makes it look like only the counter-protesters were armed and aggressive, he said."



Here's a short report by a friend of mine that was there:

I was there. We had about 500 or more Patriots and BLM and Antifa maybe between 35 to 45 total. Not for sure. It was mostly very peaceful except one or two men and a woman acted up but that was quickly handled. They left with their heads down and they were overwhelmed with the vocal crowd supporting our country, the flag, and the historical monuments.
