Didn't think that at all-knew you jumped from 1 to the other constantly. So my example then McCain would be the hated pizza for you, Obama the chicken, and Barr the no shot hamburger. So your bottom line voting decision is Barr, because Obama can't win your state anyway---thus a "protest" vote won't make a difference in your eyes. Once again, for those in states such as Fla, Ohio etc...be more prudent on your decision to go 3rd party before you waste your vote. As the example shows---and as happened in Fla. before---you could quite likely end up with the worse of 2 options by doing so.

Bob Barr has learned from Paul's mistake of being associated with racists and is proactive in rejecting a White Civil Rights endorsement issuing a statement:

Doesn't take much to be better than those two Ken neither one of them see any harm in corporatism and international socialism.
I haven't made up my mind about Bob Barr yet I suppose he is a better choice but...I'm still a Ron Paul revolutionary at heart. I'm not sold on libertarianism either, like Dragoon I find alot to disagree with them on.

That's right. I don't know the details of his divorce, but I have plenty of other reasons to not trust McCain.
I do know that Barr was married about a month after his divorce was final, and his actions in Clinton's trial showed me he has the same problem a lot of them have, do as I say, not as I do.

Atlanta, GA -- When all of the leading politicians agree on a policy in Washington, “you can bet the house that the public interest will suffer,” observes Bob Barr, the Libertarian Party presidential candidate. So it is with proposed legislation to expand the authority of the Food and Drug Administration to tobacco.
We all know that smoking is bad for people’s health, but most of us also believe that America remains a free country, in which people should be able to make mistakes. Yet for years “would-be national nannies have been attempting to give the FDA the power to regulate cigarettes and other tobacco products,” says Barr. The latest proposal is moving through Congress with the support of the Republican and Democratic presidential contenders.
But “the last thing we need today is more regulation and more bureaucrats, which inevitably means less freedom,” explains Barr. People know smoking is bad for their health, which is why ever fewer people light up. Washington should leave smokers and other tobacco users alone.
“We should be particularly skeptical when a major business, in this case Philip Morris, lobbies for regulation,” notes Barr. That usually means the proposal is written to benefit a particular company or interest rather than the public. “If we want to preserve America’s prosperity and freedom, we need to be cutting, not increasing, regulation,” adds Barr.

ATLANTA, June 3 (UPI) -- Libertarian presidential candidate Bob Barr said Tuesday that the United States should publicly declare it won't establish permanent military bases in Iraq.
The former Republican congressman from Georgia said in a written statement that Iraqis want the United States out in the near future, and remaining in Iraq indefinitely would be a waste of lives and money.
"Now is the time to accelerate the turnover of full security authority to the Iraq government, since only when we leave will they have an incentive to take the tough steps necessary to meet their nation's many challenges," Barr said.
Barr also said a prompt U.S. withdrawal was "no knock against America's brave fighting men and women," but was a timely idea given the recent downturn in the level of violence.

Anything that delineates his positions? His website is scant. I'd like to learn more.
I'm troubled by his statement that he "envisioned" DOMA giving the Cal Supremes the basis for legalizing same-sex marriage because he was outspoken against it. Is he playing to cheering section now, or was he then?
