I'll take you off my Christmas card list for statements like that. [IMG] Of course it would help if you were on it to begin with. Then again it would really help if I had a Christmas card list.

Where's C4K when you need him? Chelsea and the Bronx Bombers - dey don't get no respect! [IMG]

Yankees and BoSox down to a three game season ending series at Fenway. Of course we've seen the two of them get down to the wire before.

If the Sox can win 2 of the 3, they would be tied and would play a tiebreaking game, right? The local sportscaster last night talked about the White Sox having a tiebreaker advantage over the Indians if it had come to that, but I didn't think MLB used any kind of tiebreaker.

At any rate, there are 2 questions to answer. #1, can the BoSox starters be more effective than they were against Toronto?

#2, will the Yankees continue to play over their head, or will they come back to earth after winning 15 of 18?

After all, they still have A-Rod, the Anti-Babe. ;)

If the Yankees win 2 of 3 the BoSox get the wildcard but the AL East pennant gets to hang in the house Ruth and George remodeled.

But Boston and Cleveland are tied. If the Sox only win 1, they had better hope the Indians get swept by the ChiSox or the BoSox will be the ones knocked out of the playoffs.

I am afraid it will no longer be happening this year. [IMG] The Yankees just clinched the AL East an hour ago. They may tie for the wild card though with the Cleveland Indians..... [IMG]

Hey SALTY? Where'd you go, Bob. Hellllloooooo!! Maybe this will work, "TAXI!"

Did you hear Barnabas? The Yankees just clinched the AL East an hour ago. The operative word being clinched as in absitively, absolute, assured, categorical, cinched, clear, clear-cut, definite, destined, determined, distinct, emphatic, explicit, express, fated, for sure, indisputable, nailed, on ice, positive, prearranged, predetermined, pronounced, resolved, runaway, settled, sure, unalterable, unambiguous, undeniable, undisputed, unequivocal, unmistakable, unquestionable. (thanks to Roget's)

Sorry, SALTY. Lost my military bearing there for a minute. [IMG] [IMG]

Say, someone tell me how the Boston Red Sox did in the post-season this year against the Chicago White Sox?

Did they lose a game? Or two?

OR . . . GET OUT THE BROOMS and sweep out the l-o-s-e-r-s.
