Wonder how much wind this sucks out of their sails if it lasts into the season? 1994-early part of 1995 season really hurt them. It took the “Juicers” to bring baseball from the graveyard.

At the time, ppl thought the Reds got the shaft in that deal. All they got was a HoFer who was the straw that stirred the drink.

You would think that both sides would shudder to think what the impact of a protracted CBA fight would be.
Huge Braves fan here. The last week was not good for my blood pressure. I love this group of Braves just sad that Acuna doesn’t get to participate.

I was rooting for the Braves to win. I know it's dangerous to root for a team to be your opponent in the next series, but I can't stand the Dodgers...or the Yankees.
Acuna and Albies are still very young and that ticks me off! The Reds usually have rookies that are 25-26 before they make it to the MLB. Those two Braves are still 23-24 and have played a few years already.
I can’t stand the Braves, either. I’m ambivalent on the other two.

The Mets bought the AAA Syracuse Chiefs - then changed their name to the Mets.
Syracuse, has been know for a 100 years as the Chiefs. It was slap in the face of Syracuse fans to do that. Of four farm teams only 2 are called the Mets.

Ronald Acuna, Jr. turns 24 next month and already has 4 years of MLB experience.
Ozzie Albies turns 25 in January and already has 5 years of MLB experience.

Aristedes Aquino who is 27 and played in 164 games. Didn’t buy his hot start in 2019.
Jonathan India was a 24 y/o rookie.
Tyler Stephenson turned 25 during his rookie year.
Nick Senzel is 26 and can’t stay healthy.
Senzel and India were NCAA players so they were 21-22 y/o when they were drafted. Stephenson was drafted out of HS but took a few years to develop.
Fernando Tatis, Jr.
Vladimir Guerrero, Jr.
Christian Pache
Juan Soto
Dylan Carlson
All these are younger than those Reds prospects I mentioned. Hunter Greene will be 22 and has the makings of being special. Nick Lodolo will be 23(iirc) and has a chance to be a top two starter.
