From the article:
“Iran appears to be standing down, which is a good thing for all parties concerned and a very good thing for the world,” Trump said during his address from the White House.

This is quite the relief.

While some may judge this as a “win” for Trump, then, the truth is that it’s too early to tell. But for now, this is all very good news.

It must have pained Vox to write those words.

I did not hear of the Iranian airstrikes until about 9:00 CST. I turned on the news to see how the networks were playing it.

Fox was pretty much reporting the news straight up with some military guests talking about possible countermoves by Trump.

CNN had a panel of the usual suspects complaining about Trump. I didn't watch very much.

MSNBC astonished me. They were reporting that 30 Americans had been killed in the attack, based on reports from Iran's news service. So MSNBC was basically reporting propaganda from an enemy of the United States. No attempt to verify the information, just ran with it. They also made a big deal about Trump's tweet ("all is well, I'll be giving an address to the American people tomorrow morning") and were vociferously complaining that Trump should be addressing the nation tonight. One guy went so far as to say the reason Trump is not addressing the nation tonight is because he literally doesn't know what to say and will be staying up late watching Fox News to get an idea what to say the next morning!

Yep.

I went to bed encouraged after finding out there were no casualties and both tweets from Iran and Trump seemed to indicate we would let things be for now.

I loved everything about how this was handled after watching Trumps speech. He had a great week maybe his best as President.

Those clamoring for war are going to be disappointed I guess.

Well over 200 people died in Iran yesterday, just between the stampede at the funeral of the demon they glorified and a commercial plane that crashed 8 minutes after leaving Tehran. They also experienced a couple of earthquakes. Zero Americans died as a result of Iran's military assault on bases housing American troops. The prince of Persia is kicking against the pricks with his hatred towards God

And just to rub a little salt in their wounds, Israel announced today the successful development of lazor technology capable of knocking out aerial weapons.

Is Trump going to turn them into dust?
He will turn their nuclear capabilities into dust before they ever get the chance to use it.
I thought he had a calm tweet last night. Interesting. You may be disappointed.
Put a dent in your TDS affliction, eh?
Nothing is stopping Iran from gaining nuclear capabilities.
Except Trump!
Trump.
You seem to think Trump has already solved that problem.
You seem not to read too well, or make things up.
They are going to ramp up.
The snowflakes must be wishing we'd give them some money so they will stop it.
Another hawk without service. Imagine that. They are out in full force tonight.
Army Engineers. At least 3 fallacies in your closing Ad-hom, assumed superior accreditation and Group Think argument's conclusion, which avoided my reasoning and based on something you could not possibly know, imagine that...

Trump did what I wanted and not what you wanted and you are somehow trying to claim victory. I pushed for temperance last night against those crying about finishing a war from 1979 and I was made out to sound like a lunatic. Trump chooses my preferred course of action and you want to come at me now.

The rest is just you screaming Trump at me like a lunatic.

Democrats deserve credit for stopping Iran after they committed an act of war by attacking our embassy in Baghdad, not to mention all of their other acts of terror. I think that Pelosi is taking steps to publish the poet's poetry in English before the election.

I can’t make any sense of this.

Sorry, I do understand that snowflakes can get hysterical at the mere mention of Trump's name and I'll try to use it anymore than necessary when talking to you.

Persia is not America's fight. The prince of Persia will lead his Shia Islamic antisemetism infected people straight into the wrath of God in Ezekiel's war. God alone will be glorified in their humiliation.

Look, the Democrats went over the top with their condemnation of the drone strike against the Iranian terror chief. They should have condemned Iran for attacking foreign embassies, an act of war. The Dems may or may not lose the 2020 election but the Dems do need an intelligent foreign policy. They should have said that they would have done the same thing that Trump did. And John Kerry should not be telling Iran in private for the last 3 years that they were right and to wait until after the 2020 election. Who is he?
