A Russian initiative being seriously considered by the United States would put all of Syria's chemical weapons under international control.. any thoughts?

Watch out, the President will want to bomb Russia next.
Poncho, did you ever see Groundhog Day?
Well, brother, I hope you are wrong about that one. They can still get nucs here. My thoughts on the plan show spineless leadership, like the wind blows, but in another turn of irony, this Russian proposal will do what I wanted in the first place, to stay out of Syria. However, the shifting of Obama every hour on the subject disturbs me. By golly, if he wanted to bomb Syria, he should have done it and been done with it, and worried about Congress, England and Russia later.

How many Syrian lives should be sacrificed so Obama can avoid being held accountable for all the scandals he and his administration have been involved in?

That is a good question. As the Bible says, how does one put a worth on a human soul? We know that thousands of Syrians have already died in the civil war. I suppose there is enough blame to go around to all sides.
The main motivation for not wanting to enter Syria, is the potential death of American soldiers, sailors, airmen, and Marines. With over 4000 American casualties in Iraq, 2270 in Afghanistan, and an unknown number in Libya, Egypt, Sudan, Somalia, Kuwait, and Lebanon, by the time Syria runs its course, the number will go up. A good bit of the debt we have today is from these conflicts. If one looks at a map of the Middle East, it is hard to find a country we have not expended a great deal of lives and money except Iran.
While the Obama Administration continues to emphasize the casualties from the chemical attacks, it seems like they put little value on the lives of the men and women that go into harm's way every time we enter such a conflict.
I wonder if Obama feels any remorse at all about the children he's killed with his drone strikes and "kinetic military action" in Libya that put Al Qaeda in control?
He certainly doesn't feel guilty about all the children he and his buddies have helped kill by supporting abortion.
America has been turned into a culture of death.
There has been a lot of hand-wringing acompanied with lamenting by our president and Mr Kerry about the 400 children murdered on that horrible day.
But Mr. President, Mr. Kerry what about the 3300 children legally put to death EVERY DAY by abortionists here in America. Where is your pain and compassion for them?

Agreed.Where is their compassion? About the same place as the Republicans.
