From that information is mentioned the senate vote. So they are also recounting them too? If they get past 50% the runoff election will be cancelled. Would not be right to do that as in not counting the senate vote.

My understanding is the recount is only for Pres race. Not looking at Senate vote.

If they find something significant, maybe a candidate will request it.
