Oh, I agree with you, Old Regular. However, this President is on the record stating that he is loyal to his friends. [IMG]

    Donald Rumsfeld should have been fired long ago, IMO, when troops were sent to battle without sufficient body armor and up-armored humvees.

    I don't have to wonder if the head of FEMA will keep his job. He will. Because he's a friend who was appointed to position, even though he has no prior experience in how to plan, execute, control and command in a major disaster - as has been readily apparent for the past five days. [IMG]

    If you defend his incompetence, then I'll know for sure you don't subscribe to cable news channels, in spite of all your wealth. [IMG]
    </font>
Keep in mind Lady Prophet that Bush inherited the Armed Forces from a president and administration who held the Military in contempt. Rumsfield has done a remarkable job in rebuilding the Military for the 21st Century.

    Are there cable channels other than Fox? :D

    Ponco, when I asked you in a previous post if you believed Saddam was behind 911, I meant Bin Laden.

    My answer would be the same Frances only I would have included something about his time as a CIA asset. If he was involved it would have been in connection to the global crime ring and their desire to destroy the United States and control the world population and profit from it's degredation and downfall. They way they do this is through a centuries old tecnique of Problem Reaction Solution .

    That's bad?

    Donald Rumsfeld should have been fired long ago, IMO, when troops were sent to battle without sufficient body armor and up-armored humvees.

    Neither was deemed appropriate at the time. The armor on the Hummers was wrong headed. The Hummers were very overstressed with added armor, and greatly slowed down. Very few soldiers wanted them with armor

    I don't have to wonder if the head of FEMA will keep his job. He will. Because he's a friend who was appointed to position, even though he has no prior experience in how to plan, execute, control and command in a major disaster - as has been readily apparent for the past five days. [IMG]

    too late to change anyone now without creating more delay

    If you defend his incompetence, then I'll know for sure you don't subscribe to cable news channels, in spite of all your wealth. [IMG]

    I don't see the connection. Why would anyone want a liberal slant on their news?

    </font>
</font>
In order to convince gullible people that giving up their morals is freedom, the same as they are now convincing gullible people that giving up liberty will keep them safe.

    Wow this started off as an interesting topic and then quickly digressed to nothingness. Does this mean you win Poncho?

    Judging by the responses I'd say no we all lose. But happy day and hallelujah the people still have the right to worship any globalist world leader they choose. [IMG]

    I think they're probably standard issue Bush love blinders. Most likely handed out to people caged in the free speech zones so they too would be able to block their vision of the similarities between Bill Clinton and the one worlders anti liberty, anti American pro globalization policies and those of Bush's anti liberty anti American pro globalization policies. Just a guess though. ;)

    No they haven't and I apologize for my bad choice of words. I should have said something more along these lines.

    "people still have the right to an uninformed opinion and the excessive adulation of any globalist world leaders they choose"
