You need to move on. Really. You remind me of someone who is divorced and keeps talking about their former spouse forever. It's over, get over it. Bush is no longer President. Obama is President now.
And we have not lost in Afghanistan yet.
We're talking about a war that has been going on for 8 years, the third longest war in US history. We're asking whether 40K additional troops should be committed to that war. I' arguing against that saying that the war was lost long ago when it was put on the back burner. I'm saying that our president who started this war has said that the assumed original objective of fighting it, to capture bin Laden and break up al Quaeda, was no longer a priority. These are good reasons for pulling out.
What good reasons do you have to esculate the war?
Bush could have finished the job in Afghanistan but at a critical moment decided to pull troops out for the invasion of Iraq. He later said that he was no longer interested in capturing bin Laden. We need to forget appeasing the republican war mongers now and pull out.

Well for one, it ticks off cod brains like you.
Other than that, if you don't know the reason, then it just shows your ignorance.
Oh, wait....your posts already did that.
Does your daddy know you're up this late?
Now you're being intellectually dishonest. In one of your earlier incantations (now banned...forgive me, but there's been so many that I don't remember which one it was), you said you would support action in Afghanistan. Now, you don't. Is it because your "mister perfect" President is having trouble making decisions...are you backpedaling for him? Or are you just backpedaling for its own sake?
Like I said...intellectually dishonest.
War? Did you say war?? I guess I didn't read the papers 8 years ago! When was war declared??
I personally changed my mind about the war in Afghanistan when I discovered that the FBI can't charge Obama with any crimes related to 9/11 because they don't have any evidence. The GW Bush said that al Quaeda was no longer a priority for counter terrorism. I'm not at all certain that bin Laden is even alive at this point.
Are you seriously comparing the US to the 1942 Imperialist Japan? Too funny.War was declared when we invaded another sovereign nation. It happened the same way in Iraq and in Viet Nam. The same thing happened when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor.

Yeah really, Japan's tiny little empire circa 1942 couldn't even begin to compare with our global financial-corporate-military empire of today.
