My assertion would be "God's well be done, no matter who's in the oval office". We elected a civic leader. We didn't elect a religious leader. I already have one, and his name is Jesus. I don't nead another. And I don't want my civic leaders telling me how I should be worshipping.

No. I was away for a few days after I posted about my decision to vote for President Bush. I spent Friday - Sunday at dog agility trials in Brandon, Mississippi, and then had to take my wife to a doctor appointment in Little Rock on Monday.

Oh yeah..... that's something to be proud of alright.

Bush wins a second term while Osama remains alive and free for three plus years following his dastardly deed. That's really something to rejoice over.....

Daisy, many Christians overseas were praying about this election and were hoping George Bush would win. I saw a program the other day where some Christian leaders from all over the world were here praying - Christian pastors from Vietnam, India, Nigeria, and others - even FRANCE!

It opened my eyes. I am so used to all the negativity towards America in the press and reported opinions from other countries about how they hate Americans, I had forgotten that Bible-Believing Christians, the Conservative kind, are all over the world and really do love America - why? Because more likely than not, it was an American missionary who introduced them to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. These pastors and Christian leaders from all over the world were here to "thank America" for the Gospel and to show their gratitude and support and concern over this election. That program really blessed my heart.
What I have found is that the media likes to create these perceptions that people of one country hate another etc etc in order to sell media. Pretty sad really.

Anyway now that Bush has won, lets have a look at Homosexual Marriage and Abortion, four years from now, what will have changed in these areas?

How long did it take to capture the UniBomber in our own country and some other notorious criminals? It takes a while to find a needle in a haystack.

What I predict will happen now...we will see GW Bush's true character. We will see what he is really made of.

There is no more pandering to groups of different people to get votes for the next election. No worry of offending one group or another because of potential votes. That pressure is totally eliminated now.

So we shall see what he is really made of. We shall see if he continues to say Muslims and Christians worship the same God.

We shall see if he continues to fund Planned Parenthood and the UN abortions.

We shall see how many gay appointments there are.

We shall see if anything is done about abortion.

We shall see judicial appointments once again.

We shall see how he treats Israel.

We shall see. At any rate, I know he was allowed to remain in office as a direct answer to prayer from Christians all over the world. If it isn't God's perfect will, it is His permissive will - because God hears our prayers and He always answers. He could have said no. But He said yes.

So we shall see....

What I said.

Canada has banned the Bible as hate speech, so it doesn't seem unreasonable that they don't like Bush.
No, they didn't.

The vast majority of overseas countries are not Christian countries... so that makes sense as well.
And the ones that are? The US is not the whole world or even most of it.

They didn't know who the UniBomber was or where he stayed until his brother turned him in. It's not like he put out a videotape of himself bragging of his deeds. It's not like they had troops moving in on him & he got away.

They had the UniBomber's letters.

There's no point in arguing about it now. Senator Kerry lost in spite of bin Laden not being captured or killed(that we know of).

Sour grapes will not help the Kerry supporters reverse the decision of the American people.

It is not outside the will of God to thank Him for giving us leadership in our nation that has some affinity toward the Lord God. I thank Him that this President respects our Christian values of marriage and life. The next President probably will not hold to these Biblical principles. You are to obey what is said in Romans 13:1-3. Our nation cannot be a light to the nations if we kill babies in the body of mothers.

Your salvation is a distinct matter. [John 3:16] Don't muddy the water.

Former President Clinton had Osama Ben Laden in his cross-hairs and he let him get away. He could have been dropped and the rifleman could have excaped and it would never have been proven who took him out of this life.

My understanding of things is that there is an unwritten law not to kill presidents of other nations. Example: Arafat. Someone as evil as Osama should have been executed by our C.I.A. Israel get their enemies and they don't ask permission from the U.N. like one of our senators would have done.

Alas and alack!

It isn't sour grapes, though; I'm not saying that I didn't want Kerry anyway. I still believe he wouldn't, couldn't possibly, be worst than what we got.

That's called a "lame duck". That is, a person in office who isn't beholden to appeasing anyone for the purpose of getting voted in again.

No - the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in whom we have salvation through Jesus. The God the Muslims worship is the prince of this earth, Satan.</font>
Be sure to explain that to Dubya, he seems to be having some problems with it at the moment  I'll be emailing him on topic over next few days. Sure it probably won't get past his staffers, but I'll be able to sleep better

 x a few trillion...It keeps getting better around here...In a couple of days I've gone from being tagged liberal to a satan worshiper/atheist/America hater... x a few more trillion...

I'll refrain from tagging back...for now

I was praying for election. Was hoping Bush would lose...and Kerry would lose bigger :D Oh well, God knows what He is doing. Even the worst kings in Bible were in their positions for God's purposes.

Maybe some folks don't realize that there is such a thing. </font>
Why wouldn't we know that Europe has Christians? And why would they not be rejoicing? Because Bush wins, is Jesus no longer Lord?

Interesting.
